I have never been on a drunk thread.

Am I missing out?

HoneyDragon · 21/06/2013 17:17

Would it be ok to make chip shop curry sauce to go with dinner? It would surely?

"What did you do at work today, Mummy?"

"Well I got called a hairy wombat bum, darling"

Jestrin · 21/06/2013 17:20

Well I have wondered if they are all women...oliviamumsnet or rowanmumsnet could be 'usernames' and really they are men named Bernard, Cecil or Clive Hmm Grin

MadBusLady · 21/06/2013 17:20

Ooh how do you make that? DP is disgusted by southern versions of chippy curry sauce.

HoneyDragon · 21/06/2013 17:21

Bet that's still nicer than some of the emails you get Helen Grin

If it's from first principles then yes, of course HD Smile

Can I have some ?

(DH used to pride himself on his 9p jars from Sainsbos)

usualsuspect · 21/06/2013 17:21

I've never liked that Honey,Helen.

Not since she revealed all about tiny weasels.

HelenMumsnet · 21/06/2013 17:22

@HoneyDragon

Bet that's still nicer than some of the emails you get Helen Grin

Fair point.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 21/06/2013 17:25

I have the same feeling when I tell DS about the threads I'm on Helen !
(when he occasionally asks)

GibberTheMonkey · 21/06/2013 17:27

We all need this book

K8Middleton · 21/06/2013 17:28

I'm surprised MNHQ are being so quiet about the old in the title...

The rest is of course true so there's no defence there.

HoneyDragon · 21/06/2013 17:32

Erm, no not first principles.

I looked in the cupboard then chucked flour, onion, coriander, cumin, turmeric and miso paste in a pan and hoped for the best. It looks like curry sauce.

OP posts:
HoneyDragon · 21/06/2013 17:32

Oh, and chicken stock

JugglingFromHereToThere · 21/06/2013 17:35

That sounds tasty Honey
Hope it's good Smile

stealthsquiggle · 21/06/2013 17:36

You mean like this?

Very cute, but somewhat destructive?

Yes, that's pretty much how I imagine MNHQ.

TheMagicKeyCanFuckOff · 21/06/2013 17:42

I never imagined them looking like this but oh well...if you say so...

greenhill · 21/06/2013 17:54

Hey magickey you've linked to cubes of poo, if you carry on looking at all those wombat pics Grin. I thought they only turned up on supermarket conveyor belts Grin

YouveCatToBeKittenMe · 21/06/2013 17:57

Surely wombat bums are quite soft and fluffy
Whereas comparison to a baboon bum would be insulting

MalenkyRusskyDrakonchik · 21/06/2013 18:00

Late to it, but I'm duty-bound to point out that Gandhi is a bastard, honey, you don't want to have his tolerance.

I quite like wombats.

Ghandi is a bastard, that is surely true.

Dinner was lovely. Cider battered cod, chips peas and curry sauce. I put the curry sauce in square tapas bowls. Because, deep down, in the heart of my soul, I am a poncy twat.
