Yep, I don't think even his own parents could deny he's a massive, hideous scumbag with no impulse control - but how can he have been found guilty of abduction when the girl he had an affair with said it was her idea to go to France and she went willingly?

Can somebody legal shed some light?

From what i read when the girl initally disappeared. This is the same father that had little to do with her growing up. He only got involved when she was abucted and even then it looked to be her mother and step father pushing the authorities to get her back. Up until then she had lived with her mother and step father acting as a real father from being a baby. So she is estranged from the parents that brought he up, want the best for her and living with a man that had little to do with her, with little moral fibre. The same man that is siding with the abusers family. What chance does this young girl have of recovery or getting any counciling.

Tha teacher has a lot to answer for. Disgusting little man. I am so angry...

Oh for god sake it gets worse... I must admit I don't tend to read the red tops so didn't know that.. This situation is taking dysfunctional to a completely new level.... That girl has little chance of a normal future...

Best thing out of this whole situation is the teacher is in jail...

ExcuseTypos · 23/06/2013 10:12

I agree LittlePod.

I think this is The Sun trying to get an exclusive, they don't care what is said and they are conveniently forgetting to explain to readers that this man hasn't even brought her up. The chances of him being asked to walk her down the aisle are zilch.

The mail had an article from his sister stating how immature Forrest is and how mature the victim is.

She also says
?Take the age gap on its own ? away from her being under-age ? if she was 30 and he was aged 45, there are a lot of relationships like that"
Well the whole point of the trail was the fact that she was underage and the relationship was ILLEGAL.

I'm so pissed of that stupid people can't seem to get to grips with the fact this relationship is wrong.

LittlePeaPod · 23/06/2013 10:25

Excus the statement below clearly demonstrates the sort of people we are dealing with. Either his family are in desperate denial, or worse they genuinely believe his done nothing wrong, which is much worse!

Youe are right. The point is, she is / was underage you stupid ignoramus! Which makes what he did criminal... They all need to stop trying to gain public sympathy by grabbing any sort of publicity they can get and craw back into their immoral, disturbing little world where child grooming is clearly seen as acceptable.. What the f... is wrong with these people? Unbelievable!

Take the age gap on its own ? away from her being under-age ? if she was 30 and he was aged 45, there are a lot of relationships like that

sashh · 23/06/2013 10:54

His sister has 3 young girls and she has said that.

DuelingFanjo · 23/06/2013 11:06

The family (his) are all quite tracable on Facebook and friends with the victim on there. I think they just don't want to blame him for any of it and know they need to keep close to the child so they can control the situation. Basically colluding with an abuser, which is what he is in the eyes of the law.

Sickening

5madthings · 23/06/2013 11:10

Yes i saw that they are all on fb. You can find them if you look at the 'fan page' his sister has posted on there. You wonder if she would have the same attitude if this happens to one of her own daughters. I commented on the page and it was deleted...

PeppermintPasty · 23/06/2013 11:12

I don't know if this has been mentioned on the thread, but this depressing idea about her not really being abducted seems to be everywhere. The Jeremy Vine show was on my FBook feed on Friday and I clicked on the comments. For every one comment explaining to the thickos about the law on abduction, there were another 3 or 4 saying she hadn't been abducted and that's that! Plus quite a lot of vile stuff, victim blaming etc, one man called her a slut. I ended up responding to a few fairly strongly. HOW can people be SO stupid???? Actually, I know the answer Angry Bloody fools.

They pulled the thread later though, perhaps it got too heated.

5madthings · 23/06/2013 11:16

On the fan page they have put his parents addy so that peiple can send letters to him. Saying uf yiu are under 18 then you cant write to him in prison... Si send them to his parents... Plus one girl who says she is in the same situation... Is told to write but 'sound mature' so the letter gets through...

LittlePeaPod · 23/06/2013 11:22

There is a young girl on that page saying she is in a similar situation and no one has reported this to the police? Instead they are encouraging her. I am going on to have a look and if I find it. I will be reporting it.

ExcuseTypos · 23/06/2013 11:23

So they are encouraging under age girls to break the law? Hmm

Must run in the fucking family.

Can you take a screen shot of that 5mad? Do you think the police would be interested in it?

flippinada · 23/06/2013 11:25

5madthings can you screenshot the page?

That is just so wrong on so many levels, I don't know where to start.

Mumofthreeteens · 23/06/2013 11:25

Gosh I have just read all the comments over 35 pages! JF is exactly where he should be - in prison for all the reasons that have been stated above.

The FB page should be taken down and one seriously has to question his parents being happy to have their home address put on it. Mind you I'd be quite happy to write a letter to them detailing why I, as a mother of a dd15, would find it truly disgusting/disturbing if she entered into a 'relationship' with a married teacher of 30 years old.....

They/his family should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves putting the blame onto his wife. Poor, poor woman.

The girl's father is a disgrace. It says everything that she has chosen to live with her stepfather and not him.

I have great sympathy with her mother. JF has well and truly driven a wedge between the two. He even rang the mother and put the blame on the daughter before running off with her. WTF?! Meanwhile she gets all the bad press for her impact statement. Poor woman.

If this really was (which it is not) a fairytale romance then surely he would have treated his princess to a beautiful hotel room in France than that distgusting looking hovel in Bordeaux.

I so hope that she sees him for the lowlife lying, manipulating scumbag that he really is and moves on with her life but I fear that will not be any time soon. Sad

ExcuseTypos · 23/06/2013 11:26

My last point was bearing in mind that there is another ongoing police investigation into someone acting as a 3rd party, inorder for the girl to contact Forrest whilst he was in prison.

This was because her statement as to why they went ot France, changed significantly just before the trail.

The fact someone is encouraging and advising underage girls how to contact Forest in prison, may be very interesting to the police.

ExcuseTypos · 23/06/2013 11:26

Trial not trail.

5madthings · 23/06/2013 11:28

I dont know how to screenshot. I just commented but am sure it will be deketed. If you go to the oage and scroll down the timeline its in the comments under his mums address... But yes we shoukd report it. The link given by scottish says not to repirt crimes via there but there is another link to follow to report i think.

I am aghast at it all and also feel incredibly useless as other than reporting ti fb and the police? There is nothing we can do.

flippinada · 23/06/2013 11:29

Oh yes, I saw the picture of the hotel room. It struck me as depressing and seedy - in fact I wondered if it was his prison cell for a moment and then realised of course they aren't going to print pictures of that. How grim.

flippinada · 23/06/2013 11:30

I know how to screenshot so if you can PM a link I'll do it.

Who would we report it to?

5madthings · 23/06/2013 11:34

That link should take you to the bit with people telling a girl to lie. Does it work. If someone can screenshot it. My comment lasted about ten seconds before being deleted so someone is kerping an eye on the page at all times as anything not supporting jeremy is deketed asap.

flippinada · 23/06/2013 11:42

Thank you 5mad. Does anyone know who we might pass this on to?
