Is just seems like another bit of benefit bashing to me.

I know she shouldn't have had children she couldn't afford, but what hope of improving her lot???

Doesn't have to be a landlord Boulevard. The council has it's own housing. Landlords came into force when larger houses were needed.

BaconKetchup · 12/06/2013 17:12

Can somebody please explain to me what claig is on about, with reading the DM and then posting something completely random when I asked for clarification on that...

FreudiansSlipper · 12/06/2013 17:12

i want to see that too

there are many things i want to see changes too, companies being able to pay a small amount of tax, the cost of producing weapons and the money we make from selling weapons to countries that have terrible human rights records, the money that is wasted in the nhs are just some on my list but this thread is not about that

BaconKetchup · 12/06/2013 17:13

Oh right boulevard Grin

BeauNidle · 12/06/2013 17:13

And alot of landlords love to have HB tennants, as they know the rent will be paid. Less risk you see.

ItsallFeegle · 12/06/2013 17:14

Course it is Bacon Grin can't you tell? I , after all, a tenacious wee bastard Wink

Beau - can you link to evidence of this? Lifestyle choice benefits claimants, that is? Thanks.

BeauNidle · 12/06/2013 17:15

I think you are quite capable of googling yourself ItsallFreegle Wink

morethanpotatoprints · 12/06/2013 17:15

Why shouldn't it be a choice for people to remain living on benefits.
I would choose to, because if i didn't and needed the money my family would starve. What are you on about?
Are you suggesting people don't get paid if they can't find work, because no overhaul of welfare has ever considered this.

ItsallFeegle · 12/06/2013 17:16

Lets just line them all up then Holly!

REALLY? these are human beings that you are saying have no value.

Kaluki · 12/06/2013 17:16

Beaunidle - that isn't true any more.
HB is no longer paid direct to the landlord. This is why many rental listings say No DSS.
Hollyberrybush - best put them down then if we don't NEED them!

claig · 12/06/2013 17:17

Bacon, I don't want to divert the discussion into a discussion of the merits of the DM. That is for another thread.

"Cunningham offered a personal lobbying service for £12,000 a month. He said, ?Are you suggesting £10,000 a month? Make that... £12,000 a month. I think we could do a deal on that.?

socialistworker.co.uk/art/33521/Meet+the+politicians+who+took+cash+from+bosses

Why don't we let lobbying firms ask questions if they pay 12000 a month to families of 7 kids on benefits rather than to MPs?

ItsallFeegle · 12/06/2013 17:18

I can, indeed, google. But Beau - where are these facts? you're talking shite, aren't you? Grin

BeauNidle · 12/06/2013 17:18

Kaluki - Ah ok, didn't know that. Well then, that ought to change back to how it was. Direct for rent.

tethersend · 12/06/2013 17:18

I'm a very lazy taxpayer.

BaconKetchup · 12/06/2013 17:19

claig I wasn't trying to talk about the merits of the DM!! I was asking if your post was serious or meant to be a joke, as I honestly didn't get it. And I didn't understand your response either.

Never mind.

tethersend · 12/06/2013 17:21

claig, you'll always be my favourite DM reader Wink

claig · 12/06/2013 17:22
Grin
pumpkinsweetie · 12/06/2013 17:24

It will be £2000 including her rent in that. No she shouldn't have had 7 children on benefits , but as we don't know the circumstances we cannot judge. Thing is, if her rent is £1000 for example, that only leaves £1000 to feed, clothe, wash, elec, gas, tv lisc, water etc, so in the scheme of things £2000 isn't what she will be left with and it will be the children that ultimately suffer.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 12/06/2013 17:25

faster, yes it is a serious comment

BeauNidle · 12/06/2013 17:25

unless of course pumpkin she chose to live in a slightly smaller house Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 12/06/2013 17:26

"not included in the tot up of money is 2 lots of DLA and carers allowance."

oh well then, she must really be sitting around all day on her arse just coining it in then.

Not.

BeauNidle · 12/06/2013 17:26

She hasn't lopoked at the bigger pitcure here. Smaller house, less cleaning. No brainer. Possibly even makes time to go out to work.

FasterStronger · 12/06/2013 17:27

fanjo - never read a newspaper.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 12/06/2013 17:27

Lucky woman, having 2 kids that need considerable care and another 5 on top of that, on her own.

A lifestyle we can only dream of... Hmm

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 12/06/2013 17:28

faster..are you asking if i have never read a newspaper.

Or warning me I shouldn't read one?

I agree with that actually, especially if you are talking about the Daily Hate.
