I'm starting to notice (on the telly) this trend for really bright white teeth that look very unnatural.

How long before those of us with 'normal' shaded teeth start to be looked upon as having 'bad' teeth?

Yes it is really going OTT now. My dentist says your teeth should be the same brightness as the whites of your eyes or it looks odd. I have noticed Kirsty on the Wright Stuff too.

What is even worse is people who whiten the top teeth thinking no-one will notice that the bottom ones don't match (you know who you are!)

Some look like they've tippex-ed their teeth.

think is a lot of these celebs pay loads for it at a proper denist but there is people who claim to be teeth whiteners they buy the equipment online and set up mobile, I think it is quite a dangerous thing to do

Sorry - celeb teeth are OTT sometimes, but black grimy teeth are pretty foul.

Never mind kirsty from the wright stuff, did anyone see RYLAN on there last week? Jesus, hes had the full Hollywood Smile thing done and it looks fucking awful!

They look twice as big as they should be and look, well, FALSE! A bit of whitening is fine had it done myself but full on veneers look rediculous. Everyone can see they're not your own teeth! So why would you want a big horses mouth full of huge teeth is beyond me...

My teeth just look cleaner and whiter since I had it done, not false at all. Totally agree with everyones comments.

the very tippex white teeth are not whitened, they are veneers. The opacity and brightness of the white = not possible on normal teeth.

As said above, the ironic thing is that have them whitened too much and they look like false teeth
