The best thing that Happened with Nick Griffin is when he went on Question Time and was made to look like a complete fool who could not even put two sentences together. The more Nick Griffin speaks the more people realise that he is just a fool, with no knowledge or insight who only will ever appeal to about 2-3 percent of the population.

However odious NG's views are to most of us, he is a highly intelligent man (Cambridge graduate) who has been demographically elected to his position of MEP.
His QT treatment was nothing short of bullying, and not an edifying spectacle put together by a supposedly a-political BBC

To be honest xylem I don't really give a damn.
I'm also well aware that being a Cambridge graduate does not necassarily make one intelligent, able to study, yes. However, intelligence depends on how the ability is used, and in Griffin's case it rather shows that it isn't used wisely.

His views may be repugnant to many (if not most) but if we are a democracy he has the right to express them, just as we have a right to disagree with them.

Nope, the moment we start to stop people from expressing their opinion, is the day we should start fearing the state.

Right now he's just an idiot whom the vast majority will actively run away from. The more he opens his mouth, the more people will know which opinions are wrong. In fact, open a dictionary and look up the word 'idiot' and you'll probably find NG's photo there.

YABU - sort of. NG is a nasty bastard - of that there is no doubt. But you have to let him speak so people can reach that conclusion themselves. You're straying into dangerous territory if you try to stop him addressing people. And, like it or not, he has been democratically elected.

I think he should be allowed to have his say though - just so that we know he is a cunt. Thats the thing with free speech, yes, i think people should be allowed to voice their opinions, but if these opinions are abhorant, don't be whinging when normal decent human beings put you in your place!

he is a cunt a stupid one at that and as for being bullied he deserves it he showed his stupidity and how nasty he is on question time and if someone has watched that and still supports him, wants him to be leader of this country they are stupid. thankfully many of his so called supporters do not bother to vote
