The subscription model would be completely unsustainable for a site like this. Mumsnet would go bust.

How come it says Blog of the Day and the hamster-cheeked little poppet has been there more than one?

I wouldn't pay a subscription OP but if they brought one in I might get more work done.

I read the LM blog last night and she got challenged, there were some other utter nob's commenting on it too.

AnyFucker called her out on her opinions and she responded which got me thinking we should let some mumsnetters loose in parliament. I'd love to hear the speaker of the house calling for the Rt Hon Anyfucker Grin

I absently thought it was an Ad for a real life Bratz thing, those Happy Hooker Barbie things.

Is it for real? I'd never click on it for fear that she'd stalk me round the Internet popping up when I'm looking on M&S for school uniform.

Love you longtime Londonlogin

I read Louise's thing last night, in hospital, out of boredom.

It put me in a rage. I'm now not scrolling down so that I don't see her looking at me from under 'Blog of the Day'.

I'll vote for AnyFucker to go to Parliament, any day of the week Grin

You'd alienate a lot of people, possibly vulnerable, if you had to pay to use it.
I'm on here a lot, but I'd be off like a shot if you had to pay to use it - not a chance. Simply wouldn't justify the cost and would be straight over to Netmums instead Grin
What would happen to those in need of help or company if they couldn't afford to pay a fee?
Very bad idea, imo. I'd much rather put up with a few annoying adverts if it meant it was kept free.

Mintyy · 05/06/2013 12:36

Alright, alright, I concede the point about the adverts and I don't really want it to be a subscription site. But Louise Mensch?? She popped up as a blogger on here as soon as she left her old job ... why do we have to have her again? I am not being deliberately obtuse, I just don't understand it.
