You should have better photos than these?

Spot the loo roll!

Really bizarre photos. I agree that it may be a forced sale or ex-rental.

As an aside, WTF is the big red thing balanced on the radiator in pic 2? Enough to give a child nightmares I think.

IncrediblePhatTheInnkeepersCat · 31/05/2013 09:38

Are those towels on the kitchen floor?

Misspixietrix · 31/05/2013 09:38

Makes my 3 bed look like a Palace! Grin

YNBU.

Wonder if they were just caught off guard?

TakingTheStairs · 31/05/2013 09:40

Those photos and the lack of effort by the vendors make me think that they'd be a nightmare to deal with and that alone would put me off even viewing the house.
Looks like a bad amateur attempt at selling their own home.

If it is through an agent, they need to drop that agent fast!

K8Middleton · 31/05/2013 09:40

It's Surbiton so not cheap but yes def tenanted and/or forced sale by the looks of it.

Unless the lifestyle they're selling is dirty, minging student squat.

TakingTheStairs · 31/05/2013 09:41

Oh my goodness, it is through an agency!

pictish · 31/05/2013 09:42

Dreadful pictures... they make the place look shabby and pokey and tired. Who the fuck took them? They're shit!

DogCatDogCatDog · 31/05/2013 09:43

I want to know what the fuck that weird red thing on the radiator in the living room is!! Looks like a red Dusty Bin

TakingTheStairs · 31/05/2013 09:44

Link fail !

This seems to be the rubbish agency that is marketing it

Look at the floor in picture 4, by the loo roll side of the bed. You just bend out and.....

Nice.

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 31/05/2013 09:45

Wow, and I thought it was expensive around here!

Portofino · 31/05/2013 09:47

What is the THING that is on the radiator in picture 2?

Francagoestohollywood · 31/05/2013 09:50

One of the most depressing houses I've ever seen.

SoupDragon · 31/05/2013 09:51

Having looked closely, the Thing in picture 2 is a big red love heart with white hands and feet.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 31/05/2013 09:52

It's not the photos that are the problem though is it? It's the state of the house.

TattyDevine · 31/05/2013 09:53

Surbiton is quite close to London, South London I think, I used to pass through it on the way to Waterloo, I think its only about 15 minutes on the train so its a desirable commuter area, and its a very large house for the area and detached so it explains the price tag, though they might want to shave 200k off it. Isn't Surbiton where "The Good Life" (margot and jerry etc) was set?

Dreadful presentation, the loo roll just conjures up all sorts of images of sloppy fanjos after a quick shag lol Grin while the kids watch CBBC downstairs and bounce on their sad little trampoline.

Arghrrrrrrrrrrrr yeck

It must be tenants who don't want the landlord to sell. We viewed a tenanted house and it looked as if they had brought in soil from the garden and sprinkled it all over the floors - it looked sprinkled rather than walked in dirt.

OnTheNingNangNong · 31/05/2013 09:59

The toilet roll next to the bed is definitely indicative of a lifestyle. Wink

The kitchen makes me feel ashamed and I don't live there. The house looks so sad. Even if it was £137k I wouldn't go for a viewing.

ExcuseTypos · 31/05/2013 10:00

Ewwww.

CaptainJamesTKirk · 31/05/2013 10:00

In fairness to the agent the owners should have had a good clean, it looks filthy and totally unloved.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 31/05/2013 10:01

Its interesting what you can work out by looking at a place full of clutter they clearly eat chinese / korean / SE Asian food a lot looking at the woks, sauce bottles and what might be a rice cooker. The may well be Christian due to the crosses on the walls. The person in bedroom 4 may have hayfever/ an allergy / a cold as that looks like a bottle of decongestant spray on the headboard.

Any other thoughts.

Trills · 31/05/2013 10:02

Tenants who didn't want the landlord to sell would do a lot worse than that.

Trills · 31/05/2013 10:02

Chaz I like your "who lives in a house like this" :)

LaurieFairyCake · 31/05/2013 10:03

They're so obviously getting divorced.

Or some poor fuckers lost his City job and has to sell Sad
