To think that Tesco don't give a monkeys - twin trolley issues

I have been having an on and off battle with my local Tesco (the only supermarket without driving 13 miles or so) for a while.

Ever since my twins were born I have struggled with trolleys.

When they needed the reclining seat trolleys, they were always tucked away at the back so I had to pull out 10 or 20 trolleys to get them out. I would the have to clean them as they were always filthy (I did find a manager once and gave him a handful of really manky baby wipes from where I had cleaned one)

Now they are in the normal trolleys, I always struggle to find a twin one. They are normally half way down a row of trolleys because the trolley boys don't seem to have a brain cell and put them there.

I have complained to the store manager and have even been on a customer focus group where I made my feelings known about the trolleys. I was told then ( over a month ago) that trolleys were on order.

Today, after searching the lines of trolleys in the dry storage area, I had to check all of the trolley bays in the car park, in torrential rain. There were none, so I had to put one twin in the seat and the other in the trolley (which I detest as it isn't fair on the next user to have dirty shoes in the bottom of a trolley)

Should I really kick off about this now?

Argh. I was going to say nothing but it's itching me, 'trolley boys' are called Porters :D and the ones who work in my local ASDA are mostly slightly older gents. Continue.

Oh god get a life!! The supermarket do not give a toss as it is a pathetic WHINGE.. just manage! Or shop online if you cant. It is not your right to have a suitable trolley provided; it is a service provided to you so just get on with it! - and wow - your "name" ironic or not sums you up!

The onus is primarily on you to sort out small problems like this not the world around you.

Raging about customer service shouldn't be the first port of call when there were other solutions. Just because you chose to reject them doesn't mean they weren't viable.

I was fairly sympathetic till... 'we like to make every activity fun with our children, even the humdrum boring things like shopping. That's probably why they are so well behaved and happy'

Hmm

I can push a buggy and a trolley, or two trolleys by myself...just saying like.

Actually, I remember now, nappies and the cost of buying them for twins are what started my shopping at Alsi/ Lidl, where they did not even have trolleys with baby seats at the time (10 years ago).

I would like to the same shopping experience as Heidi Klum or Elle MacPherson, they must get great customer service. Sadly,it just ain't happening to this body, this life!

I do hope Tescos reply and tell you to fuck off and shop in the supermarket that is 13 mikes away if it is so great.

I find Tescos are a nightmare for twin trolleys. Asda are good though. My local asda has a triplet baby trolley too.

Bearbehind - you are so objectionable. I know that when Sainsbury and Asda arrive in the town it will be more that just me that move to a different store.

I guess you answer just proves you don't have a valid answer and just want to argue

PMSL at I am so objectionable.

You are the one making the most pathetic and ridiculous fuss about something anyone else in your situation just gets on and deals with.

You'd better keep those wipes by your side at all times as, if they're not need to wipe trolleys, they'll be needed by the people you clearly expect to wipe your arse.

Oh, and I'm guessing your twins will be too big for trolleys by the time a new supermarket is built so you'll have to come up with a new situation to make unreasonable complaints about.

Bearbehind. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Unreasonable because it doesn't affect you.

I totally agree with you Tesco is awful for them luckily DS is 4 so if I cant get a twin one for him and DD (14 months) he will usually walk for me. They haven't got anywhere near enough of them for starters. I think its morrisions that has twin seats in all there trolleys, makes more sense to me!

Seriously? Your life must be extremely dull if you have gone to that much trouble for a trolley.

Would you like them to keep one in reserve for you? One that no-one else is allowed to touch but you?

Fact is they would be something about it f more people requested it, but no it's probably only you that requested it because no-one really gives a shit.

Dear Mr ILoveMyself, (you really couldn't make that more apt or funny!)

We are disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction with our provision of trolleys. Having reviewed the situation, we feel we will only continue to disappoint you in the future so think it is best if you never shop here again.

Kind Regards

Tesco

It shouldn't matter what is between my legs

Probably not much at all if this is the biggest problem in your life.
