Aibu to ask where you shop for clothes and how old you are?

Was just wondering as I am 29 and a mother of two young children and I'm not a huge fan of clothes shopping and am by no means a fashion icon!!! But was wondering where you shop and how old you were as the shops I seem to like seem to be popular with people older than me which is giving me a complex!!! Not helped by my dh saying some of my clothes are hideous!!

50 next month. Size 8. Most recent purchases have been from Zara, Mango and River Island.

49 50 next week.
I look anywhere and everywhere - mostly avoid M&S/Laura Ashley/Primark.
I mostly end up buying from:
Phase 8
Whistles
Mango
Hobbs
French Connection
Esprit
Occasionally Joules and Boden
Pure
Zara

I scan around Topshop occasionally because I love their shoes and accessories, and it's useful to see what's fashionable so I can maybe adapt anything I like.

36

Oasis, Asos, my wardrobe and Baukjen seem to be the main places I buy clothes. Though pregnant at the moment and tending to a mixture of asos, top shop maternity, Isabella Oliver, seraphine and h&m at present.

I loathe shopping so once or twice a year I will go on ebay one evening and find things I like, usually vintage or unusual stuff, and just get it. It's cheap, good selection and everything gets delivered to your door.

I'm 43, and very tall, so I wear a size 14.

I buy clothes at Asda, Primark, and charity shops. If I could afford it, I would shop at Monsoon, I think it's called. But, I have to find the nice stuff at charity shops and rely on Asda and Primark for basics.

I'm 25 and my entire wardrobe is either Dorothy Perkins or New Look. 90% of it is Dorothy P. I am overweight at the moment, so stick to the shops where I know the sizes. Also, Dorothy P has very good quality material which withstands lots of washing and tumble drying.

If it's not sold in H&M it's not worth having, IMHO. I'm 31.

Almsot exclusivly ebay

But I'm dead sneaky with it. I find things I like in the shops usually Next and Dorothy Perkins, then wait for the sales. Most stores don't let you trys tuff on in the sales ands you can't return things unless they're faulty. So tons of things come up on ebay that were the wrong size. Double discount!!

32, size 8-10 (but curvy)

Not got much in the last three years because of pregnancy/ BFing.
The change in my body has made it a bit less fogiving in the middle (CS overhang does not help) so I take the time to try things on and be critical about fit. That means I have less mistakes cluttering the wardrobe and draining my bank account, so I'm prepared t
o spend more on fewer items than I once did. I need more casual, child resistant clothing, and less pretty going out things than I once had. I used to wear trousers/shirt/jumper for work, but I've switched to dresses- maybe because my casual clothing is less girly. I felt lost in my late 20s as I'm petite and look young but didn't want to look like a teenager.

M&S (trousers and undies)
Oaisis
Warehouse
DP

Just got into White Stuff when pg first time so only have a couple of things.

iI love Monsoon, but they tend to be cut too big.

I'm 32 and a size 14. I LOVE clothes. I shop at...

H&M for random unusual bits and pieces
Dorothy Perkins: similar stuff to Topshop as they're both part of the Arcadia group but usually much cheaper...
Office for shoes (but only in the sale!!)
I'm liking River Island at the moment
Clarks have some brilliant fashion-forward summer sandals this year
Also a lot of charity shop stuff (Traid is brilliant, Brixton and Clapham Junction for fellow Londoners)
Random little boutiques/second-hand shops in Brighton and London

Having said all that my mum's shopping habits are very similar to mine!! She also does a lot of customising. She's 68 and always looks amazing.
