Was just wondering as I am 29 and a mother of two young children and I'm not a huge fan of clothes shopping and am by no means a fashion icon!!! But was wondering where you shop and how old you were as the shops I seem to like seem to be popular with people older than me which is giving me a complex!!! Not helped by my dh saying some of my clothes are hideous!!

I'm 34 and buy bits in supermarkets, but like M&S occasionally, Next, Debenhams, Boden. I love Hobbs too but cannot afford it.

Currently wearing Tesco jeans and a jumper from Monsoon (a sale purchase!).

choppychopster · 19/05/2013 20:57

35 and size ten, two kids (1 & 6).

Wear a lot of Primark, Oasis, Warehouse and Uniqlo. Some bits from H&M, Zara, New Look, Top Shop, Gap. Dorothy Perkins can be ok, but sometime a bit frumpy or plastiky. Very rarely see anything I like in Next.

MoodyDidIt · 19/05/2013 20:57

i am 33

mostly h&m

digerd · 19/05/2013 20:58

When I was 53, I bought a beautiful skirt from M&S which 15 years later I still have in a size 8. As my shape has now changed and the sizes also, wish I'd bought the 10 and the full length.I have had to insert a 4" piece of elastic into the waist and can not do up the zip completely.
Don't think I'll wear it any more . I was only 7stone 10 and am now 8stone, but the waist has spread, the bum flattened the tummy bulged. The face, well, just doesn't look young anymore Sad

facedontfit · 19/05/2013 21:02

I like Boden, White Stuff, Monsoon, anything made of linen, Per Una (all bought from dedicated car booting Grin and eBay. I never buy anything new and usually sell things on when I have finished with them.

KatieScarlett2833 · 19/05/2013 21:05

My last 5 purchases were from Woolovers, Boden, Uniqlo, Toast and eBay.
I never pay full price, discount codes are my friend.

I'm 30. Mainly Zara, topshop, H&M, shopbop for Vince and Splendid t-shirts, the odd expensive thing from Matches or NAP (like, twice a year -McQueen, Drome, Inhabit), kettlewell for work tops. Am loyal to LKBennett for heels as they are perfect shape for me, winter boots from clarks generally.

EggsMichelle · 19/05/2013 21:23

27, size 12, 1 DS

If money was no object, my wardrobe would be the next catalogue, with lots of Bench! I happily settle for Tesco, Matalan and Primark though.

Uniqlo for everyday.
Mango for going out.

Obviously other shops too but without fail there will be the very thing I want in those two shops. In fact I daren't go in Uniqlo more than once a month I am unstoppable in there. So many lovely clothes.

sunnyshine · 19/05/2013 21:24

Oooh and charity shop and boob sales!!

poorpaws · 19/05/2013 21:24

Hate to say it but M and S Outlet Store and M and S. Your husband could be right as I am very old BUT am always being told I look nice (even by my daughter and other young friends).

dribbleface · 19/05/2013 21:25

35, 2 kids, mostly Sainsbury as I'm too lazy busy to go proper clothes shopping

gobbledegook1 · 19/05/2013 21:27

I'm on a very tight budget so mostly Primark, Asda and Tesco. For my more extravagant items on the rare occasions that money allows me to splash out a bit I like going to Jane Norman. I'm 28.

cuppateaanyone · 19/05/2013 21:27
