To wonder - in the light of a previous thread on here - whether Graham Norton has had spunk in his left eye?

His left eye specifically?

DH just asked me this same question. Suspiciously he is currently on the laptop, typing away and cackling

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:15

Hmm suspcious.
Is he a covert MNer?

OP posts:
LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:16

I would hate that.
DH shows far too much interest.

BearFrills · 17/05/2013 23:19

Damn Graham Norton and his spunky eye for bringing all this to the fore!

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:22

Well you can learn a lot on MN. But spunk in the eye is maybe a weird one.

PissesGlitter · 17/05/2013 23:22

WTF are you all one about?
Spunk in the eye????

SPsCliffingAllOverMN · 17/05/2013 23:24

Has he got pink eye?

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:26

There was a thread a week or so ago where someone asked who liked their OH to spunk on their faces as she and her OH were having an argument about it. It got heated but in the discussion on the thread, it came out that getting spunk in your eye was really painful and made it go very red.

OP posts:
LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:27

Sometimes MN gets into RL too much.
IABU for that, I think.

OP posts:
SPsCliffingAllOverMN · 17/05/2013 23:31

Lets I googled to find out that information. That thread ruined my google search history

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:37

Oh dear. Sad
I have learned not to Google anything from Mumsnet after Googling Dragon butter and sootikins.

DO NOT - I REPEAT NOT - GOOGLE THOSE

SucksToBeMe · 17/05/2013 23:38

His eye did look like it was bothering him.

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:40

Yes very red.
I'm always amazed how he makes a good show out of a mainly uninspiring guest list but tonight's show was a bit horrid - and that poor eye...

OP posts:
MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/05/2013 23:40

Yes, he's a gay man. It must have been spunk in the eye.

Hmm
LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:42

Absolutely not Mary. It's a hazard for anyone with a male partner regardless of gender
Hmm right back at you

OP posts:
CouthyMow · 17/05/2013 23:43

Oh eeeewwww! Why did I have to Google that?!

Now, of course I know not to Google dragon butter, but that other one is gross.

And has buggered my google history too..,

Lorelilee · 17/05/2013 23:44

Oh get over yourself woman!

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:44

I would have written exactly the same if he had been female. My point being AIBU to suspect the cause of red eye to be spunk in the eye after reading it on mn.

OP posts:
CouthyMow · 17/05/2013 23:45

Um, last time I checked, I wasn't a gay man, and yes, spunk in the eye does hurt like a bastard, and leave you with red eyes.

(Remembers drunkenly splashing water from a vase on my eye after a rather enthusiastic night once...)

Lorelilee · 17/05/2013 23:45

Mary, not Couthy. One of my big bug bears in life is those who love getting offended on other peoples' behalf, regardless of whether the others are actually offended or not!

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/05/2013 23:46

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I have a male partner. Never nearly had spunk in the eye.

SPsCliffingAllOverMN · 17/05/2013 23:47

I've never had spunk eye. Had spunk hair and that was horrible to get out.

I haven't been near a spunk machine in a while so I have no spunk eye worries

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:49

Ouch @Couthy

I was really surprised by some of the stories as I thought - being salty rather than acid - it wouldn't be so stinging.

OP posts:
MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/05/2013 23:49

Clearly I wasn't there for the original joke.

I love the way one comment labels me as someone who loves being offended.

SPsCliffingAllOverMN · 17/05/2013 23:51

Lets Apparently it burns. This is what google told me anyway.

Do we have a volunteer to find out if this is in fact true? Anyone?
