Amrapaali not sure that's true. It thinks its in the right place. But there is something fundamentally dishonest about all those super privileged people (and trust me, they are), presuming to speak for the underprivileged. Not saying wealthy and privileged people can't have a social conscience and do good, but there's something particularly condescending about the Guardian currently IMHO.

Mintyy · 07/05/2013 16:36

That's me! And I am middle aged too.

idiuntno57 · 07/05/2013 16:36

me. I like champagne when it is bought for me too.

living the London leftie dream

TheHerringScreams · 07/05/2013 16:37

Well, I'm a reader of the Guardian (we can't afford the newspapers/need the money for stuff like food or heating, but my work has tons of newspapers and asks for all to be taken home to save binning, so I happily oblige as far as the Guardian goes) and I'm a leftie and I'm not sure about MC. I am skint as hell, so I will stand on the sidelines as a 2/3er.

Me. Out and proud.

Grinkly · 07/05/2013 16:40

I prefer Do-gooding middle-class lefties, more accurate imo.

Kveta · 07/05/2013 16:41

I'm one.

ChildoftheMonkeyBasket · 07/05/2013 16:44

Signing in, and I live in N. London too.

STOP PRESS: Insider leak reveals new direction to boost flagging Guardian sales

NicknameTaken · 07/05/2013 16:47

You called?

I read the Guardian on Saturday and the next day the Sunday Times. Yes, I know.

I am confused.

Kveta · 07/05/2013 16:47

Shock :o Talc

UnChartered · 07/05/2013 16:49

i tick most of the boxes

i might lurk

Amrapaali · 07/05/2013 16:49

Hmmm quesadilla, I do remember some articles with a patronising tone. But I assumed it was just some chip on my shoulder on a particular issue.

Should I switch to the I? Smile

UnChartered · 07/05/2013 16:51

Herring care to join me on the 'not sure' bench?

AnnaFiveTowns · 07/05/2013 16:52

Me! Saturday Guardian only. Takes me all week to read it. Like The Independent too though.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 07/05/2013 16:53

Me! Hello. The increasingly poncy food/cooking stuff at the weekend is starting to get my weasel though, and the truly dreadful 'fashion'.

But I loves it.

Dawndonna · 07/05/2013 16:53

Here I am. Guardian Reading Leftie that doesn't like muesli and isn't currently wearing sandals.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/05/2013 16:54

As a dedicated cryptic crossword nut, I have to say that, in my opinion, the Guardian's offerings have the most variety, wit and style.

Exhaustipated · 07/05/2013 16:55

Yup, that's me champagne socialist
I get it (Guardian not champagne) delivered to my kindle and everything. Just not the same as the proper paper version on Saturdays though...

Machli · 07/05/2013 16:55

Yes not particularly middle class here either, well it's kind of confused, I am an army child what does that make me?

I am here anyway.

squoosh · 07/05/2013 16:56

Bloody tree huggers!!

Always interrupting a good dogging session.
