For instance:
A) Are George and Richard Rabbit G&T? They've just set up Dinosaur World in George and Peppa's bedroom, with an upturned laundry basket as a volcano, a forest of toy trees and a river made of blue building blocks. They're not like any 18 month old I've ever seen!

B) Do you have no choice but to marry the only available instance of the other gender of your species in existence? How did Mrs Rabbit and Miss Rabbit decide who got to marry Mr Rabbit?

C) Why did Daddy and Mummy Pig call George George when it so definitely doesn't start with P? Did she not get shot down on a Baby Names thread for that one?

Bobyan · 26/04/2013 13:14

I wonder how many nipples mummy pig has?

Wylye · 26/04/2013 13:31

I liked the lighthouse episode where Granpy (Brian Blessed) Rabbit is the lighthouse keeper - Peppa et al shout for him to sound the foghorn, so he shouts in his most carrying voice "FOOOOOOOOOOOOGGG!" Grin

Best one so far was the one where the wolf family move next door "Bricks, you say?"

Gemini1974 · 26/04/2013 13:39

Daddy pig is an overweight layabout tv addict, mummy so happy she must be on Valium, Peppa is bossy and smug and George is fixated on a plastic dinosaur. Hardly good role models!! And Miss Rabbit....does the tax office know about all her jobs? I suspect not. Everything expensive and 'for a good cause' hmmm. Drugs habit?

CinnabarRed · 26/04/2013 13:59

One Miss Rabbit
There's only one Miss Rabbit
One Miss Rabbit
There's only one Miss Rabbit....

PedroYoniLikesCrisps · 26/04/2013 14:07

Daddy pig is an overweight layabout tv addict

But he is a bit of an expert at these things......

Housemum · 26/04/2013 14:24

Cinnabar you beat me to it, had just started to type the same!

I can't stand the whiny crying noise that George makes the second he doesn't get what he wants, DD2 quite often winds up DD3 (5yo), who then makes a crying noise that sounds exactly like George despite the fact that she hardly watches it any more.

In fact my 2 youngest can be just like Peppa and George, sweet seeming older one who actually can be a bit of a cow (sorry, more animals) to her younger sibling, young one who cries for sympathy when she doesn't get her own way.

Housemum · 26/04/2013 14:26

Anyone else think that Mummy Pig's "important work" on the computer is actually a spot of Mumsnet & Facebook time?

SecondRow · 26/04/2013 15:06

Don't panic! We'rrrrre having a rrrrabbit!

FannyPriceless · 26/04/2013 15:08

When the children go camping and wonder if they will be surrounded by 'wild animals.'

In the tent, they hear a wolf howl and clutch each other, screaming 'Wild animals!!'

And Wendy Wolf says casually 'Oh that's my dad. He's come to collect me.'

Like, duh. Grin

FairyArmadillo · 26/04/2013 17:09

My friend sat with us in kids' A&E when DS (4) bumped his head last year. I didn't bat an eyelid about DS (and I) referring to the Nigerian doctor as Dr Brown Bear. My friend however does not watch Peppa- was aghast and wondered if we were being racist about the Dr BROWN Bear reference (I'm Asian for goodness sake) and I had to explain... It was kids' A&E so I'm assuming their used to being referred to as Dr Brown Bear.

carybaz · 26/04/2013 17:16

Anyone else had kids scared of any Peppa Pig episode? My DGD was massively upset by the bit of Sports Day when the tug of war rope breaks.

Bobyan · 26/04/2013 17:23

I have visions of wild animals being shell suit wearing, Gregg's sausage roll eating, fruit shoot drinking animals. Grin

"Let me do the talking... Whatever I was doing wrong officer, I promise I won't do it again."

mikkii · 26/04/2013 19:07

Miss Rabbit was also a nurse at the hospital when the twin baby rabbits were born (Rosie and Robbie I think they were called) who seem to have disappeared.

mikkii · 26/04/2013 19:26

MrsXSweet if you have a TiVo box you can use "play all episodes" option, I used this recently when working from home with sick 2 year old, the only drawback was that if you have some time recording before and after the episode that gets played too. Cue shouting from the other room "there'll be another one on shortly" "yes there will"........."I told you it was coming" she did get used to this after about an hour and a half and stopped asking..... Or maybe she fell asleep? Grin

estya · 26/04/2013 20:36

The twin rabbits are robbie and rosie.

I thought that mummy rabbit (having the twins) was miss (ms?) rabbit and that mummy rabbit and daddy rabbit were just unmarried.

MNHQ we need answers- we need a webchat!

GingaNinja · 27/04/2013 09:15

Ooooh completely forgot to mention that the Wise Old Elf is moonlighting for the AA in Galway (west of Ireland). Including the half moon glasses!! No elf horn though. AND he sorted the car out. Cos he's an elf!

sockmonkey · 27/04/2013 15:15

The thing that I wonder about is when madam gazelle takes the children on a train ride. There are 10 children & just her. Is this not against adult/child ratios for a play group?

MarieP1980 · 27/04/2013 16:32

My daughter loves Pepper Pig, and she's 14!! LOL : )

Feathered · 27/04/2013 17:09

I love Miss Rabbit too. And Nanny Plum.
The answer to the Miss Rabbit (and her multiple jobs) is that they are all different Miss Rabbits. They just happen to have the same voice, obviously because they are sisters. There are so many because rabbits breed . . . like rabbits. Peppa Pig = genius.

Panzee · 27/04/2013 17:32

It should be that there are many Miss Rabbits but that is unfortunately not true. Only one Miss Rabbit fell and hurt her ankle, and many people had to cover her different jobs for her.

CokeFan · 27/04/2013 20:49

I still think there's lots of Miss Rabbits. They all have several jobs each, that's why when one of them hurt her ankle the other people had to cover the jobs done by that particular Miss Rabbit.

janpa · 27/04/2013 22:15

I've only read up to page 7 (so far) so don't know if anyone has mentioned the eyeliner issue? All the mummies have eyeliner in a different colour from their outline (not to put it too crudely) but poor Miss Rabbit doesn't have coloured eyeliner on, presumably too busy for it Sad

Bobyan · 27/04/2013 22:22

Maybe its a political statement as they test it on rabbits?
