I think they should offer hair gel with funky coloured bleach already in it. Think of the fun a lover seeking revenge could have swapping that with someones usual gel in the bathroom.

I love chestnut hair which is very popular round here.

I don't understand how dyed hair shows that the person thinks "I don't like my life and I can't change it." How on earth could it show that?

I could point you in the direction of some sites if you like. It depends what sort of thing you want. I can do the sort of thing in the pictures on my profile, but there are some sellers who are like goddesses I can only DREAM of being as good as. If it's for your wedding you could get something really special. Ach, I'm in Essex so a little far. The installing isn't really that hard though, just fiddly and time consuming. I might be able to put a call across the hair grape-vine and find someone in your area - it's quite a close knit internet society Grin

I love how this has turned from a sour little complaint into 'I can set you up with a full head of multicoloured dreads' Grin

I do love hi-jacking threads about hair...sorry about that Grin

I don't really care if people think it looks shit...it makes me happy and that's all that matters to me. I've been doing it a while though...I have pics of me at 13 with bright pink hair...I was a legend in my (very strict grammar) school.

Slightly aggressive individualism?? Really? The reason I do it is because I like it, not because I have a point to make. Should I go all mousey brown and Bodenesque to make my appearance less wearing on you?

Stops looking rebellious at about age 21, then looks a bit daft.

Oh, and I don't consider myself 'mad', nor do I wear velour joggers Envy.

I was thinking about it the other day and wished that I was back at uni so I could dye my hair bleach blonde (again) and get it dipped dyed with lilac at the bottom. I'm only 24, and whilst it would look cool as fuck it would not project an amazing image to the middle aged, conservative men I have to deal with at work. My age is already a barrier without me adding funky hair to the mix.

Agree with YoothaJoist for the most part. Generally I think it's alright if done well and maintained, but unfortunately that is not the case for the majority of people you see on the street with pink or purple hair.

I currently have green hair :D not at all fussed about what others think of it, it's my hair. If you don't like these hair colours the don't dye your hair those colours :)

Come off it. Grammar schools are bursting at the seams with 'rebellious' teenage girls. I know. I went to one and I taught at one.

Bet you still got good A levels, didn't you? Wink

TheSecondComing - I sense you're holding something back here and not telling us how you really feel Grin

I switch between platinum blonde and copper red (blonde just now). Red, green, purple, etc is a bit too much for me but if the person likes it then that's their choice. What a boring bloody world we would live in if everyone looked the same.

I dont care if you like it or not.

I don't give a monkey's chuff what you think

A bit childish, isn't it? All this hair dyeing and then sticking out your bottom lip?

I see this username as being friendly sounding. I name change quite often and normally choose something I think will reflect well on me in some way (may have to NC again after admitting that!).
