AIBU to think spraying fences when washing is out

Is fucking not on. Next door has done this and the spray has drifted into three gardens and ruined all our washing. He could see we had washing out as he was on a ladder before he began spraying,cleaning the gutters. I heard his wife say 'check no one has the washing out'. Thought nothing of it. Go to check dryness of washing and there are speckles of creosote all over my whites. In a mad coincidence other neighbours checked at the same time and there was a collective WTAF! So are we ABU to be pissed off and want to kick him?

My neighbour I'd this. Was livid. Ruined a whole washing as well as our decking, garden furniture, kids toys.

My bastard nieghbour did this. To MY new fence. Apparently he didn't like the colour. [Confused] The paint splattered all over my greenhouse and new light coloured patio. Luckily his garden only borders mine for about 20 feet at the end of my garden.

I think spray painting garden fences is often a stupid thing to do as it is near impossible to control where the paint goes.

My mum and dad sprayed their fence and it got on some of their neighbours car. They kindly washed it for them out of kindness

Our neighbour got the car when he did his fence.

He washed it all off for us; if he'd done the washing I'd have killed him!

Go round and complain!

Nice neighbours have all descended on me. We are bagging our clothes up and going around in a minute. He mowed his lawn a couple of nights ago at half past eight. He used his flood lights to do it. I was out . They are both retired so why did he wait until so late? Nice neighbour 1 has got 4 week old baby. Well we are off. Not a mob just 3 women demanding justice for our washing.

YANBU, he is. His poor wife will probably be mortified since she told him to be coutesous. My neighbour used to really annoy me, he never hung washing out or went in his tip of a garden fr much but moaned when we had a BBQ yet he always, always, would start burning rubbish when my sheets went out. Right after they did too, not before so I'd be warned and keep in-literally ten minutes after.

That said he was a grade A arsehole who ended up evicted.

It was like an alternate Royston Vasey! His lovely and very apologetic wife opened the door. She said she knew why we were there and ushered us into the lounge. Gave us G and T ( house measures) and apologised again. He came in apologised and admitted he was an idiot. He also apologised for mowing the lawn 'at such an un-godly hour'.
Towels,bedding,shirts and underthings were ruined by the spray. The lovely wife got on to her laptop and searched for the items that have been ruined and made a note of the cost to replace. Luckily just M and S and BHS.
A duvet cover was discontinued so she let that neighbour choose an alternative. She ordered and payed for some items on line but has written cheques for other items.
As we left he said ' I 'm so sorry. I didn't think it would travel that far' wife says ' you woke the baby. Remember x. He didn't sleep well. You'd have complained if someone had woken him once he'd dropped off'
More apologies then we left.

Awwww lovely ending. Poor wife though, what an expense her idiot husband caused.
Will remember the g&t thing in case I ever accidentally really piss off my neighbours.
