To hate irregular Choice Shoes?

I have never seen a single pair I've liked - ever.

Am I the only person in the world who doesn't like them?

There is a blog I follow and the girl has both those bunny and the doll boots! She wears them well as her style is kind of quirky/vintage. I like some pairs but think I would look like one of the ugly sisters in them!

The vast majority of IC shoes are absolutely gopping, but I've seen a couple of people wearing less bonkers ones, and they look much better on the foot than off. I like the union jack ones that snuffaluffagus linked to.

I agree with Ogoogle on why they are grim...bulbous toes, bad shape and a sense of faux quirkiness and 'vintage' which is irritating. No elegance. Very sad as I love shoes and they are just all wrong.
I may have to go for a quick browse of the Zara shoes section to refresh my eyes!

I hate to say it but a lot of the linked fugly examples look like they ought to come in sizes 8-13 if you know what I'm getting at.

The range used to be far nicer. More playful and artistic, less brash.

The fuckers only start at size 3 - I'm a 2. I can wear a 3 with fluffy bed socks but not many IC shoes are made to be worn with bed socks.

I've a nice pair of blue vintage style boots with turquoise flowers on them - wore them twice as they're so uncomfortable.

On the other hand, I purchased a great pair of wedge/boots last week. Black & white with 3 buckles, am on phone & can't do links but it was the Bourbon collection by Amy Huberman.

I'm another hater of IC. I think they're really unattractive. I like Iron Fist mind!

My 15 yr old loves them I think they look like 'dressing up shoes' DD hasn't a pair yet but give it a year and i am sure she will I dont hate them I think they are urm creative wouldnt wear them

YABU! I love them, I have four pairs that I have collected over the years. They hurt a bit but then day to day I'm a flat shoe girl so all heels hurt. I often wear mine with jeans too. My most beloved pair are like Dorothy's shoes, all red and sequiny.

If I was rich I'd have a walk in wardrobe with a glass display case full of irregular choice shoes and Lulu Guinness handbags Smile

I love them, but not all of them love me!

Some of the styles I cannot walk in and some (open toed styles) cut my feet to shreds Sad

I have 2 pairs that I love, but they are 'special occasion' shoes. I sold the rest on eBay!

I had these, they were so delicate and beautiful, I loved them.

Unfortunately they had a hard strip of leather that lay across the top of my toes, so when I walked in them the leather dug in, hard.

After 20 minutes of the most unbelievably excruciating pain I took them off. I had blisters, some popped and bleeding across the top of every toe! Never again. I still wince when I see someone hobbling in a pair of Irregular choice shoes!
