Green ones are the best.

I have one burning in the kitchen now.

Those and the pink ones are my fave.

The vanilla is too sickly for me.

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 19:58

i might become have a conversion.
I cant smell anything atm. puts nose near naked flame

GlitterySkulls · 14/04/2013 19:58

i've got the green one. also the vanilla.

as long as they smell nice, eh?

timidviper · 14/04/2013 19:58

I HATE vanilla candles, really synthetic and nasty smelling. I also like the shade of green so I think your OH has done rather well.

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 20:00

i agree vanilla often ew, but these were tres subtle.

This is rocking my very foundations

LagomOchLyckaSwede · 14/04/2013 20:01

But it doesn't look green Confused or is that just me?

I like the vanilla ones anyway!

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 20:01

Butts - suffice to say I now have no problem with nasal hair

threepiecesuite · 14/04/2013 20:01

What flavour is it? Pear?

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 20:03

I think it suggests apple

cinnamonsugar · 14/04/2013 20:19

IKEA scented candles have practically zero scent and I always fall for buying them, somehow forgetting that. He is not BU for choosing the green though Smile

Yoghurty · 14/04/2013 20:27

I have that candle burning in my living room as I type! Smile

I also buy the vanilla and cranberry ones

Lovecat · 14/04/2013 20:31

LTB.

Seriously, the reason IKEA put their candles in one mahoosive stash is so that combined they actually smell of something. Then you get your single candle home and realise it basically smells of wax.

Buzzardbird · 14/04/2013 20:33

I never do anything 'vanilla', think your DH was just trying to spice things up Grin

Can it be true? that you hold there, in your mortal hand, a nugget of purest green?

What does green smell of?

GobShizz · 14/04/2013 21:37

Green smells of green, silly! I like it, btw, but Ikea candles are just cheap crap regardless. Try Neom or Diptyque instead.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 14/04/2013 21:40

I got a green one. yyy it smells of nothing.

LadyMountbatten · 14/04/2013 21:41

oh no they def smell

OP posts:
McNewPants2013 · 14/04/2013 21:43

I don't care about the scent, candles in my house are decorative so the colour must match with every thing else.

mrsjay · 14/04/2013 21:45
