NO ONE buys anything other than the vanilla, do they?

I went to Ikea with my friend this week (I say 'my' friend and not 'a' friend because I only have the one) and we discussed the scent of Ikea candles at great length.

The final conclusion, which I know you're all dying to know, is that you would have to buy an entire pallet of them to get any sort of proper scent from them at home.

They smell gorgeous in the store (mostly) but they don't have the same effect at home.

ASDA sell a nice white one that is rips of the Yankee Candle Clean Cotton scent. I think they call it Fresh Linen, and the one I bought kept it's scent quite well, even when not lit.

I have green too!! matches the sitting room.

Do they do turquoise?

Could he be in secret training as a witch?

But what about the tealights? Everyone buys tealights. It's the law. That and meatballs. Although, obviously, not for lighting purposes.

What's wrong with matchy matchy candles :)

Is the green not apple?? I love appley smelling things. I have the green one waiting to be lit in the very hope of an appley smell. I shall be so disappointed :(

Cant stand vanilla or any other sweet smelling candle. Vomit inducing so a fresh apple fragrance is lovely.

YABVVU. Vanilla scented anything is vile.

I've got a green Ikea candle, not that one though. Smells of nothing. I can't buy anything vanilla, it makes me feel sick. So on that basis, HINBU and YABU.
