Its ok to ring the ss and tell them what you know sugarmouse and also tell them what you have heard. They won't prosecute you and if others have been telling you about their homelife then your neighbours won't necessarily assume it was you. Don't be afraid to do the right thing. Millions of people would stand beside you and say you were right to report x

Sugar mouse, just report it. The child's safety comes way above your needs and expectation that your neighbours may be a bit off with you. If they did accuse/intimidate you, you can ask the police for help. That small baby can't. By saying nothing makes you complicit.

I don't think blaming troll hunting was enough of a reason to pull it. A reminder, tell people not to, pull the thread because of another reason, people questioning the validity of the op was the least of the problems in that thread.

Actually, I agree that it was right to delete the thread but not for troll calling reasons. The op got her answer loud and clear and repeated posts telling her to report won't make a difference. She will either report or she won't. I hope she does.

I am also shocked it was deleted for troll hunting when it either obv is a troll, or raises v serious child protection issues.

With hold your number, and tell them anonymously what you have told us all on the other thread. Let SS take it from there. You don't have to give your name or tell them where you live. You don't even have to give the other people's name's, but it does help.

Don't fret about who's problem it is, if this baby is being neglected and abused you can not and must not step back and do nothing. Help the little boy, please. Or PM me, or someone else and I/they will do it for you.

I read original thread whilst feeding DS2, listening to DP reading DS1 his story...the idea that a little boy somewhere is being treated like that and a woman is typing a post online instead of calling police/SS/NSPCC is totally unacceptable and downright ridiculous.
