Haha sorry I am probably being unreasonable, but for some reason this status gave me rage -

"So...apparently I have amazing eye brows? I keep being told it, over and over again. It's getting annoying!"

Maybe I am being unreasonable and just jealous and want amazing eyebrows myself Grin or am I right in thinking this FB user is a bit full of herself?

I think for you, its time to turn off the Facebook and do something more interesting with your day.

aldiwhore · 21/03/2013 23:37

I think it's so random it's funny. And the author of the status seems rather surprised. Smile

YABU, go pluck yourself.

YouTheCat · 21/03/2013 23:37

Can she do tricks with them? Grin

aurynne · 21/03/2013 23:39

Is this the FB user?

YouTheCat · 21/03/2013 23:40

Beautiful Grin

LadyBeagleEyes · 21/03/2013 23:41

Aw, now that puss does have amazing eyebrows.

UchihaHelena · 21/03/2013 23:43

aurynne how did you know? Grin

Social networking which is exactly what you are doing now too Hmm

And the rest of my day? A whole 15 minutes wow.

OP posts:
anonymosity · 21/03/2013 23:51

Is Mumsnet social networking? I hope not.

SneezingwakestheJesus · 21/03/2013 23:53

YANBU to think they are a bit full of themselves but YABU to rage Grin I have someone on my fb who regularly posts about how men in cars have beeped at her and how she "pulled on the bus today". Its a bit untrue boasty so makes me cringe a bit for her but everyone shares different things I suppose!

UchihaHelena · 21/03/2013 23:53

so·cial net·work·ing

Noun
The use of a dedicated Web site to communicate informally with other members of the site, by posting messages, photographs, etc.

So yes I would say it is.

BegoniaBampot · 21/03/2013 23:55

Nope, it's quite quirky and funny. Depends on the person.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 21/03/2013 23:55

Not full of themselves

Unlike Russian Dolls

Arf

BabyFaker · 21/03/2013 23:58

I would post 'How odd. I have never ever noticed your eyebrows. Ever'

But I'm a bitch

YouTheCat · 21/03/2013 23:59

If anyone beeps their horn at me it's because I've got my skirt tucked in my knickers again Hmm

UchihaHelena · 22/03/2013 00:05

I think it's because she posts screen prints of messages men send her ... and posts a lot of photos of just her face.

So yeah that comment on it's own maybe not so much Smile

OP posts:
anonymosity · 22/03/2013 00:06

Still, its an immensely boring thing to complain about in AIBU or to even spend a second of your time thinking about.

UchihaHelena · 22/03/2013 00:18

Yet you felt the need to comment on it three times.

If it's so immensely boring then why waste a second of your time posting.

All you have done is write goady comments. Maybe you need to wonder why that is.

BegoniaBampot · 22/03/2013 00:20

Ha, an ex friend of mine kept posting posey, pouty pics of herself as her profile pic. This is a woman hitting fifty not some teenager. The latest one was particularly awful, she is an attractive woman but the recent made her look like Madonna in those cheerleader pics. Think she is a bit deluded.

anonymosity · 22/03/2013 00:22

oh dear I have struck a nerve.
well the thing about AIBU is its free for people to agree or disagree to comment freely
and it wasn't quite clear how dull the AIBU was, until I read it, so I said so.
take it or leave it love.

SneezingwakestheJesus · 22/03/2013 00:22

Haha! I love those posey pics where they hold the camera above their heads to slim their faces. My sister told me this is sometimes called a SIF (secret Internet fatty) Shock

Uchiha, she posts pics of the messages they send her?! Grin Now that is sad.

UchihaHelena · 22/03/2013 00:26

No you haven't struck a nerve, I just find it odd that you are being so vicious and trying every trick to try and get an argument out of me.

If this thread was so boring then no-one else would have posted an you would have stopped coming back to it.

OP posts:
UchihaHelena · 22/03/2013 00:27

Uchiha, she posts pics of the messages they send her?!

Yeah she takes screen prints and then post them for everyone to see ...

cleangreens · 22/03/2013 00:35

Blimey anonymosity, who rattled your cage?!

Newmumsuchfun · 22/03/2013 00:39

If someone is continually commenting on her eyebrows I am guessing they are a tad in your face/tacky/not nice at all. I have a FB 'friend' who feels the need to reiterate every single compliment she's ever had. Yes it is very annoying and yes i think it smacks of full of themselves x
