To love Ant & Dec and think they are my friends?

Is there anyone out there who doesn't love Ant and Dec? They're brilliant, yet seemingly still quite normal, I can quite imagine having a few beers with them down the pub and know we'd get on just smashing if the situation ever arose. I nearly wet myself laughing at the Aled Jones sketch on Saturday Night Takeaway tonight, I love how they always seem on the edge of losing it and dissolving into giggles.

PS I know they aren't really my friends, but sometimes I do daydream that they are Grin

I wish I could tell them one from the other. It's that bit from Love Actually, "yes, Ant or Dec".

jird · 16/03/2013 21:09

have you been at the sherry

SkinnybitchWannabe · 16/03/2013 21:10

I think they are brilliant at what they do.
I loved the Aled Jones part..favourite one was Louis Walsh though with his telephone banana!!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 16/03/2013 21:11

Funnily enough my and DH were on about them last week. (we weren't daydreaming about being mates or anything though.. Wink)

We came to the conclusion it's because we've grown up with them. As teenagers we watched them as PJ and Duncan (poor PJ Sad)

We cringed at their music career. Let's get ready, ready, let's get ready to RUMBLE.

They are never off our tellies.

In the future there'll be tributes to them for life time dedication/achievements and shit.

mrsjay · 16/03/2013 21:19

You what mrsjay?

Irish Dancers have a poker straight back

MrsTerryPratchett · 16/03/2013 21:20

I just Googled. They are ALWAYS the same way around. Freaks.

mrsjay · 16/03/2013 21:20

even when they are doing backstage BGT they are in the position

Hassled · 16/03/2013 21:21

They stand alphabetically. It helps.

I love them too. And that was damn impressive Riverdancing they did earlier. Good recent Guardian feature.

MrsTerryPratchett · 16/03/2013 21:21

Maybe they are actually conjoined...

Fakebook · 16/03/2013 21:22

I liked PJ and Duncan. Don't really care for Ant and Dec. I don't watch any of the programmes they present.

HolidayArmadillo · 16/03/2013 21:25

It helps that I hail from their neck of the woods (or they mine) so legitimately we could be mates. Kind of.
