Am pg now and baby due just after my 44th birthday! 3 miscarriages in the last two years but ttc was no problem and got pregnant easily. This is dc2. Dd1 born at 37.

I do feel ancient though! Good luck OP.

newcastle34 · 16/03/2013 07:46

O yes and she wasn't planned. We had previous fertility issues and it was my best pregnancy for all.

Fightlikeagirl · 16/03/2013 07:58

I was 25 and 27 when I had my two DS's.
Married at 25.
All of my close friends thought I was crazy but supported me, it just felt right for me.
Then was diagnosed with cancer at 30 and given treatment which was said would more than likely make me infertile, was offered to delay treatment and have eggs frozen but at that point staying alive for my 2 was more important than any future babies.
Now 33, 2 years clear and looking forward to my friends starting their families now so I can be fun Aunty!

My friend had twins conceived naturally at 43

My grandmother had my uncle at 46...that was a bit of a surprise.

EvenIfYouSeeAPoppy · 16/03/2013 08:01

Had dc1 at 28 and dc2 at 30. I should have had another at 35, but miscarried. Now 36 and ttc.

26 with dc4 but pregnancy #6.

CecilyP · 17/03/2013 09:17

32, so no help personally, but I do come from a line of older mums as my DM was 42 when I was born and my GMs had their youngest at 40 and 41 respectively. Further back, my GGM had her 7th and 8th children at 44 and 46, the youngest when my GM was already 21. I also had a friend whose mum had had a successful career in nursing before getting married and she managed to produce 4 children when she was between 38 and 44.

tallulah · 17/03/2013 09:44

43 Grin Two months off my 44th birthday.

digerd · 17/03/2013 09:56

My GM was 43 when she had my dad, he being her 7th child.
My MIL was 42 which was her 15th child.
I stopped the pill at 39, but failed to get pregnant again, despite fertility pills at 40. < sad face>.

So last and only child was born when I was 20.

redwallday · 17/03/2013 12:03

I'm 29 and pregnant with my last child. Had DC1 at 25, DC2 at 27 and now due in Oct! This is most definitely my last! Been married for 7 years and together for 15 Grin

kilmuir · 17/03/2013 12:07

weegiemum · 17/03/2013 13:48

I was 29, 31 and 32 when I had my children.

Just as well as I was perimenopausal at 35 and fully through the menopause at 40.
