to ask (some of) you to stop hovering and just stick on the bloody loo seat?

You might think you have missed the seat, but you have probably left a fine mist of wee, which I don't spot until I have got up and discover that my thighs have been dampened with someone else's urine.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Urrgghh. Pissy thighs. Yuk.

I've not caught anything from a public loo seat so far in my life.

Shutupanddrive · 12/03/2013 17:51

Yanbu

BadgersRetreat · 12/03/2013 17:52

grrr yy OP - if everyone just sat down we'd all be dry fine

Sheila · 12/03/2013 17:53

Oh I do so agree. YANBU

olibeansmummy · 12/03/2013 17:53

Well if you hovered like the rest of us you'd be alright Wink

thebitchdoctor · 12/03/2013 17:55

That is why I wipe the loo seat thoroughly before I sit down.

crashdoll · 12/03/2013 17:55

YAsooooooooBNU! I used to be hoverer, now due to a physical condition, I can't. I'd like to slap the old me as well as all the hoverers who claim they never piss on the seat. Some of you do!

Pandemoniaa · 12/03/2013 17:56

Why do people hover over the sodding lavvy sea? If it is too dirty to sit on (or your bottom to delicate to cope) then why on earth are you in that particular lav in the first place?

MardyBra · 12/03/2013 17:57

You're outnumbered oli.

MrsTerryPratchett · 12/03/2013 17:57

If you stick on the seat, probably best to hover...

MardyBra · 12/03/2013 17:58

Apparently hovering isn't good for you as you don't empty the bladder properly. could lead to infections.

OP posts:
MardyBra · 12/03/2013 17:58

I might have made that up...

OP posts:
MardyBra · 12/03/2013 17:58

Oops. Sit. Blush

OP posts:
TrampyPants · 12/03/2013 18:02

yes. if you're too scared of germs to sit on the seat, consider how the next user feels about getting your piss on the back of their thighs!

TrampyPants · 12/03/2013 18:03

Mardy, Ive heard that too.

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 18:05

Pandemonia, you've obviously never had to piss in a public toilet in Burnley.

DioneTheDiabolist · 12/03/2013 18:08

YANBU. I hate hoverers' splashes. Why do you do it Hoverers? Why?

TalcAndTurnips · 12/03/2013 18:13

Oh come now, Mardy - it could be so much worse. Confused

That picture is so gross Talc.

I remember visiting a French campsite on a family caravanning holiday. I was sent to check out the toilette facilities. I reported back to my mum that there weren't any loos, just lots of funny looking showers. Confused

Itsalwaysraining.....taking a piss in Burnley on a night out is even more interesting. There is no lav seat to hover over, if you did sit down your bum would possibly touch the bowl full to the brim of tissue and you have to keep one hand on the door coz otherwise ppl wander in mid flow coz none of the locks work!

ReturnofSaturn · 12/03/2013 18:17

Haha to Itsalwaysraining. Im from Burnley, so can vouch for this :p

twentythirteen · 12/03/2013 18:17

I now routinely wipe the seat before sitting for just this reason. Repulsive behaviour. I can sympathise with hoverers, but leaving your mess on the seat?????

Tee2072 · 12/03/2013 18:17

My mother tried to make me be a hovererer. I rebelled.

Stand up for your right to sit down!
