To think Sky Plus Planner should ask if you are sure you want to delete?

Just deleted 'Robson Green's Extreme Fishing'. DH and the DC are going to be really cross.
It should say are you sure before it does it. Sad

Did you delete it from the deleted section or from the main bit of the planner? If it was from the main bit it should still be in the deleted section of the planner.

BunnyLebowski · 26/02/2013 14:22

Oh it definitely should. Mt BT Vision box did and it saved me from accidentally deleting stuff all the time.

My new YouView box doesn't and it's crap Sad

An aside: Years ago I misread that show's title as "Extreme Fisting with Robson Green". Choked on me custard cream I did.

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:23

Where's the deleted section Fluffs?

OP posts:
TapirBackRider · 26/02/2013 14:24

It does, as long as you have it on save (the blue button).

Dh and I have had many disagreements over this Angry

MsNobodyAgain · 26/02/2013 14:24

Use the blue 'keep' function whenever you set a program to record. Then you have to go through another step to delete it.

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:25

Sad Is that the K thing Tapir? No it didn't have that. Sad

ThingummyBob · 26/02/2013 14:25

I think the deleted section might just be on the newer/hd boxes Sparkling. I don't think I had it on the old sky plus (white) box.

Fluffs76 · 26/02/2013 14:25

In your planner go cycle through the sections, all progs, movies, doc etc. the deleted section will be the last one. :)

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:26

Shall I deny all knowledge? I was trying to delete Doctors which i had watched. Blush

Hve you tried searching through the next weeks worth of programmes for a repeat though, or is it old?

Geekster · 26/02/2013 14:26

If you go into your planner and go across the top bit where it says all, entertain, docs ect if you keep going there is a deleted option. If you go into that the programme should be there and you can restore it.

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:28

No, don't seem to have it Thing, our box is white.

LayMizzRarb · 26/02/2013 14:32

Go TV guide, click on green button (planner) whilst the yellow highlighter is on 'all' press the < button next to the 'select' button. You will see everything you have deleted. It then asks you if you want to restore or permanently delete.

Geekster · 26/02/2013 14:32

It's repeated at 7pm tomorrow on channel 5.

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:40

Think my box is old. Can't find any deleted section.

Buzzardbird · 26/02/2013 14:41

"extreme fisting with Robson green", oh god bunny I laughed so hard I pulled a muscle Grin

Geekster · 26/02/2013 14:43

Glad to be of help sparklingbrook Grin

TapirBackRider · 26/02/2013 14:44

It's the K thing Sparkling - we have an old white box too, and no deleted section.

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:45

The only thing with a K next to it on our box is the very unfunny film 'Don't Mess with the Zohan' Hmm

Geekster, all will be well in the Sparkling household if they don't miss Robson and his fishing. Grin

OP posts:
ThingummyBob · 26/02/2013 14:51

You could try clogging up the box by putting bloody disney shows on series link Sparkling.

Within a week your box will blow up and you will have to get a new fangled one Wink

Bunny hahahahahaha I am going to remember that one for next time I need a witty TV related one liner if you don't mind!

Geekster · 26/02/2013 14:51

The keep button should be if you go into you planner and pick programme you should be able to press the blue button on your remote and it will have a K next to the recording (in a circle), ( you don't actually press a K button), I think you should still have this even on the older boxes.

TapirBackRider · 26/02/2013 14:52

Grin at Zohan - it's Dirty Dancing and some footie here!

Sparklingbrook · 26/02/2013 14:52

Ooh yes Thing. Good Luck Charlie alone should be enough to break it. Grin
