Especially when most working people couldn't never afford to live somewhere costing that much?

I live in a 2 bed house with 3 kids. Thats what we can afford at the momentSad

maisiejoe123 · 19/02/2013 20:16

Of course MC girls get attacked and taken advantage of. To take an incident(and we really don't know the finer details) and then somehow trace it back 25 yrs is daft. The women is entitled, selfish and greedy.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 19/02/2013 20:17

Ashoe..do you want 11 kids?

Her first child conceived at 13 or 14 was fathered by a man in his 20s - so, yes, I agree that is abusive.

Angelfootprints · 19/02/2013 20:18

Maybe a kind a mumsnetter will give you a bigger house then Ashoething, as its your moral right to have it.

Any takers to give ashoething a house then?

Ashoething · 19/02/2013 20:18

Not 11 no-but yes I would have liked more kids but due to a number of issues-financial being the main one-I wont be having any moreSad

LtEveDallas · 19/02/2013 20:19

Groomed to have sex at 13. Maybe she kept having children to fill the emptiness. To have someone to love. To have someone that loved her. To fill the hole caused by the abuse. Someone of her very very own. What a shame she chose the feckless fathers she did, and what a shame her daughters fell for the same kind of wankers.

The local news websites have been taken down a number of times in the last 2 days whilst they deal with comments like "spunk sponge" "disease ridden slag" "who the fuck would shag that 11 times" and my personal favourite "her younger kids could live in her bucket cunt"

Never mind kids, when she dies you'll have some wonderful memories to look back on, you'll have all those lovely words to remember your mum by.

What a wonderful tolerant society we live in.

Ashoething · 19/02/2013 20:21

Those comments are horrible and of course noone deserves that-noone. But there is a middle ground between being a good and tolerent society and allowing people to rip the piss.

gordyslovesheep · 19/02/2013 20:21

when it happens to MC girls it's shocking - WC girls, as reflected in a fair few posts here, are just grasping council house seekers spreading their legs to get benefits ...that is the difference

to me both are equally awful

CecilyP · 19/02/2013 20:22

No, she wants to get on the Tewksbury housing list. Perhaps she could have one of the 2 houses vacated by the family in the article.

landofsoapandglory · 19/02/2013 20:22

What is your point Fanjo? This woman chose to have 11 kids. She said she would have had more if she could. She knew she couldn't support them. Most people don't have 11 kids because they can't afford that many, and couldn't look after that many.

I wouldn't want 11 kids, not for all the tea in China, but right now I would quite like a house with an effective boiler in it so that upstairs gets warm. But as DH is in the military we aren't even classed as tenants, he is classed as a license holder so we have no rights!

seeker · 19/02/2013 20:23

Ashoething- they are exactly the same as many of the posts on here- but mumsnet moderation requires more temperate language.

Worth thinking about?

RandallPinkFloyd · 19/02/2013 20:24

I was responding to auntmaud's ridiculous and frankly insulting statement, I would have thought that was obvious.

Ashoething · 19/02/2013 20:25

I dont believe I have read any personal comments about the womens body seeker?

D0oinMeCleanin · 19/02/2013 20:25

most people don't want 11 kids, regardless of finances. you have to ask yourself what happened to this woman to make her desire so many children.

pashapasta · 19/02/2013 20:25

Good grief LtEve. How many cliches and assumptions? I am not bitter and jealous as someone suggested upthread - just astounded that this type of lifestyle is considered acceptable.

For the record, my MIL had a child at 14. She looked after him, worked nights and eventually met and married and had more children. She isn't a victim etc etc, doesn't consider herself such. She made a bad choice which, in her case turned out well. Why make all these assumptions about this lady?

Landof..thats your own issue and not to do with this lady's lifestyle choices

Angelfootprints · 19/02/2013 20:26

Im sorry but your being ridiculous LtEve. Her neighbours want a party when she leaves.

She will be demanding another house if this one doesn't suit.

What does that tell you about her character?

Ashoething · 19/02/2013 20:27

She desired not to work and to be given more money-I would have thought that much was obvious? Yes of course there may be underlying issues but at the end of the day if she hadnt been handed money and a place to live do you think she woudl have carried on having so many kids?-doubt it.

Ashoething · 19/02/2013 20:29

Being on benefits should NOT be a lifestyle choice.

LtEveDallas · 19/02/2013 20:31

She never said that Angel, the DM did. The house she will be moving to will have 6 small double bedrooms and will be turned into 2 three bedroom houses when the children leave. She is already well aware that the new house will have less room than her current house.

This thread is going round in circles now and I am becoming confused by what is fact and what is fiction with regards to this woman what with the massive amount of presumptions being made. I do not wish ill on any of her children and I hope they dont suffer for her actions.
