S'alright, Chaos. You can be in my weirdos club. Way cooler than anyone else's.

And it wasn't a personal attack numptybrains

MardyBraWouldDoEddieRedmayne · 01/02/2013 00:13

I bloody love bookmarking.

MardyBraWouldDoEddieRedmayne · 01/02/2013 00:14

Shouldn't that be "wireod" or something chaos

ChaosTrulyReigns · 01/02/2013 00:14

Gwan, Mards.

Name some names.

WorraLiberty · 01/02/2013 00:14

I have the OP's posts set to a murky green (possibly a shade of grey...I'm colour blind) and my own set to pink.

It definitely helps in skim reading a long thread.

EduCated · 01/02/2013 00:14

And YY to highlighted posts. Mine are
Purple, OPs are green and MNHQs a nice pale blue.

MmeLindor · 01/02/2013 00:14

I tried the bookmarking but didn't like it. I think it was cause it got confused when I posted on phone. Not sure.

Long thread reading tactic:

  1. Flip
  2. Skim
  3. Search for humphy faces or Message Deleted By Mumsnet posts
  4. Stop and read bits that look interesting
  5. Depending on topic of thread CTRL F and search for my name

Capital Cee, svp.

EduC, yow know I'm in ya club, bab.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 01/02/2013 00:16

Still think it's slightly cheating, Mme.

MmeLindor · 01/02/2013 00:16

Sorry Chaos.

Don't encourage Mardy to name names though. We've done that enough for today you can PM me instead

MardyBraWouldDoEddieRedmayne · 01/02/2013 00:16

The OP is grey. I am a delicate shade of purple. I don't like some of the murky colour options.

EduCated · 01/02/2013 00:16

Yow'm right about that, me babber.

MardyBraWouldDoEddieRedmayne · 01/02/2013 00:17

What's the ControlF Mme.

Mac user here, so might be something different.

MardyBraWouldDoEddieRedmayne · 01/02/2013 00:18

"We've done that enough for today"

What have I missed?

Tax return is done now though. You might see more of me tomorrow.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 01/02/2013 00:18

stealthboats

EduCated · 01/02/2013 00:18

Ctrl F is search. Try Cmd F.

WorraLiberty · 01/02/2013 00:19

I've only got mine set to 'no pages' cos I was fed up of getting half way through a thread, only to find it went Poofff.

Having one long thread means I can read at my leisure...safe in the knowledge I can read it all Grin

EduCated · 01/02/2013 00:19

Stealth boats? Like ones that sail at night with all the portholes covered up?

ChaosTrulyReigns · 01/02/2013 00:19

You know the tip about having contentious threads open in 2 tabs, don't you, WorraL?

MardyBraWouldDoEddieRedmayne · 01/02/2013 00:20

Brilliant. Cmd f is great. Never knew about that.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 01/02/2013 00:20

Hope I'm not teaching you to suvk egggs, obvis.

[gulp]

WorraLiberty · 01/02/2013 00:21

I hadn't really thought about opening 2 tabs Blush

MmeLindor · 01/02/2013 00:21

yy to search the page, CTRL F and type your name. Or whoever you are searching for. It is v handy.

I really couldn't say, Mardy. There were a lot of people doing their tax return today.
