hmmm, on the one hand, we have a professional company who are well used to dealing with very famous people, and non famous very wealthy people and have built up a reputation of catering for a very elite group.

on the other hand, we have katie price. who loves publicity.

They said they refuted all her claims. So I assume they are including that in there.

The woman admits to a cold sore, I believe her when she said the butler asked if she was a porn star. She has never lied, as far as I know, she is what she is an attention seeker, not a liar. Even Gareth Gates admitted he lied and had slept with her when she was pregnant in the end.

It's just occurred to me that it could be some really advanced bit of PR. Sandals/KP engineering the entire thing so they look good to Mumsnetty types. And Katie Price making cash playing on her unpopularity. Or have I strayed over into tin foil hat territory?

I doubt the butler said that - but if he did I would have to wonder how inappropriate her language and behavoiur had been to prompt the query (i'm remembering having to switch off im a celebrity as her behaviour was yukky)

Unbelievably I have to agree with kp assessment of sandals, went to that resort for our honeymoon lasted four nights and pretty much got a full refund when we flew home early and we werent the only British couple to do so that week. It's a dump, that private island so beautifully photographed is actually fenced off for cruise ships so the sandals private bit is a really small not very pretty beach, whilst the rest of the island is packed with day trippers from the cruiseliners.

Sandals is very much marketed as club 18-30 type holiday as far as I can gather in America rather than the luxurious resorts they are marketed as over here. I would never recommend a holiday there

I just love the statement and the bit near the end after the gesture of goodwill - I would so love to use part of that line in my business.

Over the years I have had stroppy customers who have been in the wrong, and have bullied our company, all the usual stuff of how many people they will tell etc etc. We have always done the refund/goodwill gesture too - but how I would love the tag line, "on condition you dont try to buy off me again".
