...likes acting silly? I don't really watch Loose women, have seen a few episodes over the years and don't really like it. Today I am working from home procrastinating and the show is on in the background. It just seems to me that any sort of serious topic they try to talk about she pretends/acts not to know about it and that it's funny in a way to not know about it. Och, I don't know, she is just annoying me. Linda Robson is also on it and I always get the impression she also doesn't try. It's like as soon as they hear the words "parliament", "book", "economics" etc they just switch their brains off because they think they don't understand it and can't contribute towards the conversation.

and that Lisa one that was in The Bill "Oooh I'm so tiny and dainty, aren't I cute!". In fact she's the worst one.

I liked Vorderman on Countdown but find her obnoxious on Loose Women.

I was once on holiday with Denise Welch and she seemed lovely in real life so I don't know why she comes across as so disturbed on the telly.

Anyone remember the competition they ran to find a new presenter, and they got this poor woman in who obviously thought it would be something different to what it was. I don't know what happened to her or who she was, but I found it very awkward to watch.

I got the impression that they ignored her when the cameras weren't rolling because she wasn't really one of them

I find Loose Women an embarrassment to watch and I try and deter people from watching it in case they think it is a representative panel of what we are like.

I saw Sherrie Hewson on Come Dine With Me Celeb Special and if I loathed her ebfore, i loathed her even more afterwards.

She was a fussy eater, attention seeking, and worst of all ( and what irks me most about her) is she tries to pull off the wide eyed little girl act and frankly it looks grotesque once you are over the age of 8.

PS in a fight, I'd be Team JSP, not Team Vorderman. At least JSP is intelligent and a bloody fine journalist.

It's AWFUL. I hate the way breastfeeding is so sneered upon by female media 'stars'. Lorraine Kelly is the worst, she always says it's OK if 'you're discreet' with a look of distaste.

It's enough to make me want to borrow a baby and stroll with my tits out through Paddington station, or something. And I don't even care that much about breastfeeding any more, now that dd is grown up. But these women and their reactionary lowest common denominator ways rile me up.

Think JSP adds to mix but lot of prod'n staff and the other presenters aren't that keen on her. JSP and Denise Welch will not appear on same eps together as can't stand each other

Pretty certain recall - but not 100% - that SH has had some MH issues, so I'd be a bit reticent to comment on her manner etc.

I have never seen Sherrie Hewson on LW (don't watch daytime TV) but I do remember seeing her on a couple of other things a few years ago (Come Dine With Me, and some chat show other) when she first started touting herself around as a 'personality' and I thought then that she was an unwatchable, attention-seeking, ridiculous arse.

I see nothing's changed.

I know mrs it was excruciating to watch. Completely fake as well - like a really bad am-dram farce. She made up her mind from the off to be all ditzy and kooky, but all that slapstick shite fooled no-one.
