Bella88 · 13/01/2013 19:10

Even the chocolate ones? They're rank!

UniS · 13/01/2013 19:15

YANBU - only one or two bites to each one.

Mind you...I DO have a very high tolerance for sugar.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 13/01/2013 19:16

YANBU.

I could eat three boxes and still not feel sick if I was in the right mood.

I dont though. Mores the pity.

hazeyjane · 13/01/2013 19:16

would it make you feel sick to know that my sister and I always called them, poo, bum and wee cakes.

Geekster · 13/01/2013 19:17

No still don't feel sick.

Hmm

Is it not standard to eat a whole box

Confused
HoHoHoNoYouDont · 13/01/2013 19:18

Yum! I can usually eat an entire box in one sitting too!

Silverlace · 13/01/2013 19:19

If it is Mr Kipling ones YABU as they are horrible. M&S Fondant Fancies are far nicer!

hermioneweasley · 13/01/2013 19:21

Betty's are the best. I couldn't eat more than one but they are gorgeous!

porridgewithalmondmilk · 13/01/2013 19:22

I loved the special blue, red and white ones they had for the Jubilee Grin

AwkwardSquad · 13/01/2013 19:23

Mmmmmmmmmm Bettys fondant fancies... drool. hermione, that was cruel.

quoteunquote · 13/01/2013 19:24

are there any yellow ones left?

MrsMelons · 13/01/2013 19:25

ooh I love French Fancies. Our local newsagent does their own brand ones for 50p - they taste exactly the same.

I like it when they do the special edition ones - especially the pink ones.

nextphase · 13/01/2013 19:27

Not sure I could manage the french fancies, but could easily demolish a box of bakewell tarts, assuming you mean the 6 boxes?
In fact thats what I had for breakfast after DS2 arrived. Tho I did manage to offer the paramedics one each. The declined (it was about 8am!). Not done it since tho.

redwellybluewelly · 13/01/2013 19:27

Bloody lov em yanbu

But. I have to eat the chocolate ones first then alternative the lemon and strawberry. I try very very hard not to eat a whole box but usually do and so dont buy them.

Betty's ones are amazing but can only eat one.

worsestershiresauce · 13/01/2013 19:29

You can't eat a whole box, that would be disgusting. One yes, two at a pinch, more than that is greedy. How could you even want to eat a whole box?

PrincessOfChina · 13/01/2013 19:30

YANBU for eating them.

YABU for making me think about them while I'm on a diet.

usualsuspect · 13/01/2013 19:32

It's quite easy to want to eat a whole box really.

I'm Envy at the 50p fake French fancies.

ScarletLady02 · 13/01/2013 19:33

Once when I was about 19 and a relaxed, hippy student, I ate a whole pack of Golden Syrup cake bars (10 of them).

Geekster · 13/01/2013 20:08

Where do you get the Betty's ones from? Don't usually eat a whole box, I don't usually buy cakes for this reason. Yes I did eat the chocolate ones first. I like the yellow ones best. I start the diet again once we have moved house.

Order them online at £££, or come and visit us 'tup North and visit a shop.
To be fair, I couldn't eat 6 of hers. Mr Kipling makes them much smaller and less rich!

Primadonnagirl · 13/01/2013 20:29

Ooh I didn't know Betty's did them and I was in Harrogate yesterday so could have stocked up..will have to find a reason to go again soon...can I get any for anybody else whilst I'm there?
