As played by Richard Armitage and Viggo Mortensen respectively.

I don't think Thorin would even be that much shorter than me Grin

Thorin deffo sings better. Possibly better produced. Aragorn sounded embarrassed and didn't have dwarfish humming in background

Elijah said "Oh Sam," and looked like he wanted to shag him lot.

Yes! :)

Talking of which, I'm pretty sure Remus Lupin fancied Sirius Black. He only married Tonks because Sirius was dead and therefore entirely unattainable.

It's understandable, Sam is the number one most amazing friend you could have. (Or gardener)
Quite handsome too.

Oh gawd! Yes to Michael Praed as Robin. UNNNNF!
He was my first crush.

Aragorn was pretty fab when he was all scruffy and covered in mud but when they scrubbed him up at the end I went right off him. Legolas looks like a big girl's blouse ( elves - pah! All eyeliner and timoteh hair ... )

The female contingent of the Feckless Geek-Fest are united in Thorin/Killi lustfull imaginings ...

... And Martin Whotsit is loads better than old Goggle-eyed Frodo bloke ... There's only so much mood-lit homoerotic hobbit mopery one can stand, you know ... Grin

Viggo Mortensen's eyes are too pale for my liking.

TeamSledward, I am going all misty-eyed. Michael Praed is the best Robin of all times, despite being an absolutely awful awful actor.

Yes, by the end of The Return of the King Aragorn was rather too tidily bearded instead of gorgeously grubby and unkempt.

Still wouldn't have said no of course.

Unkempt Rider > King Aragorn

If you like grubby and unkempt, why not try some of this on for size.

But Autumn, he was way too pretty to be really hot! ( That said, he was loads better than Stupid Blond Fringe Guy who took over after he snuffed it ... )

I have just realised that I don't fancy anyone in Game of Thrones.

Can that be right?

I was expecting to dislike Martin Freeman, but he wasn't too bad in the role.

And getting back to the OP, I didn't think Thorin Oakenshield out of the ordinary, so would plump for Aragorn. Though, Boromir more so (I may regret confessing that).

It's probably very sensible given the rate at which they die off, Trills saves heartache ... You chaps know what happens to Thorin and Filli and Killi at the end of the book, right? Sad

Looking at the photo I've just realised who Richard Armitage is! I didn't recognise him in The Hobbit.

I take it all back , but I liked him best of all as Mr Thornton.

Maud! A kindred spirit! He is at his bestest as Mr Thornton.

Don't worry, Feckless, we've grown used to that sort of thing.

God that link....DH is a cross between Thorin and Big from SATC.

Is it wrong to fancy the arse off your hubby so much that he leaves you feeling like a female dog on heat every time you look at him?

Coldshower time methinks as hes watching telly and won't be dragged upstairs for "cuddles"

Grrrrr
