Any culinary disasters to report concerning unnecessary spoonage? DH stirred a bowl of egg whites which had been whisked into stiff peaks. That was pretty irksome!

Spoonfucker stayed away from Xmas dinner. He got a bit twitchy about the Roast potatoes and wanted to poke them but I threatened his nadgers with hot oil and he retreated.

I did not end up with Turkey Porridge Grin

ChristabelChristmas · 30/12/2012 18:14

Glad to hear it!! Happy New Year to you and your family!

Good news. I got a slow cooker for Christmas and turns out DH is a previously undiagnosed opentheliddyfucker.

We have all been ill, so put paid to my DairyFucker, we have a fridge full of butter and cream

TheHoneyDragonsDrunkInTheIvy · 30/12/2012 18:25

Spoonyfucker is a reformed lidopeneryfucker. I pointed out that each offence added 20 minutes cooking time and that the dcs and I would be using his money to purchase a take away to eat at dinner time. He on the other hand would have to wait till 11pm to eat the dinner he had repeatedly violated with his fuckeryness.

TWinklyLittleStar · 30/12/2012 18:29

DH is a lidopeneryfucker. He has been opening the lid on the breadmaker get bought 'for me' and generally Interfering.

ChristabelChristmas · 30/12/2012 18:43

DS is a dragachairacrossthekitchenfucker every time I try and make something. I'm sure I will miss it when he's a teenager but at the moment I would just like to be able to butter toast without a little helper!!

sorry CC here's an explanation

Did you ever find out?

You asked, how Spoonyfucker's Christmas went? I thought who's spoonyfucker and did you find out, as this thread never got answered

and did you leave the bar steward ?

you said ,"DH stirred a bowl of egg whites which had been whisked into stiff peaks". sackable offence in this house touching chef's ingredients, bar steward instead of bastard.

what were the egg whites for?

just wondering as you do,

well you started the questions thing

justification for response..

ChristabelChristmas · 30/12/2012 18:59

Yes, thank you Quote, I got that much, subtle as it was. What I wasn't sure about was your tone. It seemed almost accusatory, as if I shouldn't have asked ...

sorry if you took it as accusatory, not sure why but hey ho no one else had answered, never mind,

thanks honey dragon,

must read the whole of MN before replying to a post, only went back to beginning of december.

Trills · 30/12/2012 19:18

:o

PartridgeInASpicyPearTree · 30/12/2012 19:23

I'm going to try your method honeydragon because mine isn't working. The neighbours must think we're playing some jovial new Christmas game - "Stop touching that fucking lid"

ChristabelChristmas · 30/12/2012 19:24

That's why we have emoticons and crossing out and brackets Hesterton < wry smile with a hint of sarcasm>

I also have a DS who thinks it's his mission to help me do the washing up, make a sarnie, cook dinner and burn pudding. And now he can climb on a chair I have little choice but to accept his help. He's only 22 months, so I hope this helpful streak is still there in a few years time when he's big enough to do the washing up.

Guiltypleasures001 · 30/12/2012 20:15

Twas xmas day and the veg oil was in the deep pan in the oven to heat, yes i could trust him to par boil the spuds and parsnips, then shake them in the collinder then add to the hot oil...he said.

So I go for a shower safe in the knowledge he couldnt possibly fuck that up go wrong, when he shouts up the stairs oh I added the goose fat to em..

So theres me sitting on the bed drying my hair fucking livid with rage trying not to go off on one, because no one else bar him likes fecking goose fat, and I had promised my mum I wasnt going to use it this year.

So served it up and everyones like ohh the spuds are wonderful guilty really tasty blah blah DH is sitting there all smug fecker like rye smile so I had to tell said family what had happened and still they all thought they were fab.

So the moral of the story is not to let smug fucker of a dh dp near the cooker ever.

Guiltypleasures001 · 30/12/2012 20:19

sorry forgot to add he is the doesntsimmeranythingfucker
