I also live in Asia and have often had strangers taking photos of my DCs (both asking first and not asking), though not so much now, thank goodness, now they're older and not so blonde. When people asked I used to say it was up to the kids to decide, and they often said no. This did surprise people. The thing that would bother me is some dumb person putting the photo on facebook, oh look at this cute kid I saw today - and having their privacy set to public, so anyone can download it.

You could write to their "World Bearquarters" and ask what their stance is?

Incidentally they are looking for an "InCUBtax accountant" in their vacancies.

I still imaginr customers calling, and there is a phone ringing into the empty headset of a teddy bear receptionist, staring quietly out over the reception desk with blank button eyes and a stitched up mouth.

YWNBU. i would have gone spare too if someone filmed my child without my consent, and it sounds creepy to be honest.
