yet....

I use a shopping trolley,

I adore my brand new slow cooker

I'm currently sitting on the sofa, feet up in peace and quiet with a large glass of sherry and a box of chocs

and I'm thinking up excuses not to go to a house party on New Years Eve...

I am aren't I?

Alot of you seem to love your slow cookers, im off to do some research!

TraineeBabyCatcher · 27/12/2012 17:45

There are loads of really cool shopping trolleys available now, when Christmas shopping we saw to (fairly young) ladies with two very funky trolleys.

I do miss having a shopping trolley known as the pushchair.

GlaikitFizzogTheChristmasElf · 27/12/2012 17:48

Waiting, you need a crockpot! Quite possibly the best wedding present we got 5 years ago when I was 26!

Tee2072 · 27/12/2012 17:48

I'm 43. I first bought a shopping trolley at 34.

So you're just one year ahead of me.

I have rather poked my eyes out than go to a 'house party' (whatever that is) since I was about 25.

I don't like sherry, I'll admit, but enjoy a nice cup of cocoa.

The only thing that keeps from being a total old lady (did I mention I was looking in M&S today for a cardi?) is that I have a 3.6 year old. Xmas Grin

FrazzleRock · 27/12/2012 17:50

Fairly young That's it!

That's what 33 is.

I have the same one.

FrazzleRock · 27/12/2012 17:51

Oh lord, I was also looking in M&S for a cardi in the sale yesterday.

crock pot?! Same thing or something else to research? haha

Tee2072 · 27/12/2012 17:52
Xmas Grin

I was also in BHS today, to have a nosy...

TurnipCake · 27/12/2012 17:53

I'm 28 and I'd sooner enjoy a bath, tea and my pile of crochet than paying to get into a loud, sweaty club Grin

minouminou · 27/12/2012 17:57

I'm after one of these now that my pram years are over:

Crock pots are a brand of slow cooker.

I have a cheapo one. Bought it yesterday. Havent used it yet but cant wait.

I hate parties and too loud music. I like cardis Blush but I dont quite need a trolley yet as DD2 is only new!

Im 25.

FrazzleRock · 27/12/2012 17:58

Mine's a CrockPot!

GlaikitFizzogTheChristmasElf · 27/12/2012 17:58

Brand of slow cooker waiting! This is the one I have and the pot is ceramic. Although there are plenty of others out there and much cheaper.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 27/12/2012 17:59

Asda are doing a 4.5 litre breville one for £19. The reviews online seem positive.

FrazzleRock · 27/12/2012 18:00

Oh, like minouminou.

I wouldn't be surprised if Topshop and Urban Outfitters start selling shopping trolleys in the next couple of years.

I love BHS too! But my one does have a dotty ps and wallis in there! And good for pjs for ds!

AND dh bought me a folding knitting basket for Christmas! 31 going on 81!

Waitingforastartofall · 27/12/2012 18:01

looks good, i wonder if we would use as dp doesnt eat white meat ect. Its v tempting though!

Nuttyprofessor · 27/12/2012 18:03

This made me think of DS he is 12 years old.

Christmas morning he asks me where do I think the safest place to keep his slippers would be.

Some people are just old before their time.

HearMyRoar · 27/12/2012 18:05

I'm 30. I love my stripy trolley and have 2 slowcookers. So there!

I am also addicted to the archers, make my tea in a pot, and will probably be tucked up in bed by 10:30 sober as a judge on new years.

You would never believe the trouble I got up to in my youth if you met me now

FrazzleRock · 27/12/2012 18:05

I used to be the life and soul of the party though.

I'm not naturally oldlady. I'm quite good at it, it seems.

GlaikitFizzogTheChristmasElf · 27/12/2012 18:05

Soups, casseroles, currys, when you say white meat to you mean chicken? I do slow cooks beef spare ribs. Does good rice pudding. Whole host of scrummy things!

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 27/12/2012 18:08

I got as far as the fact you're 33 and I was too busy being Envy to get any further!

SPsFanjoIsSantasLittleHoHoHo · 27/12/2012 18:10

I'm 22 and spent Xmas night at home alone in my onesie drinking wine and eating chocolate. I was asked to go to pub but I declined for my onesie
