this one is potentially teenagey and trivial a bit jeremykyleish even.
but would like some perspective.

we will start with jk bit first -ex stopped over xmas eve so he could be there for present opening in the morning.
We have been split for six months, havent had sex in that time. after 1 or 6 glasses of wine we ended up in bed together
i woke up and thought fuck it.
file it under shit i regret, sweep it under the carpet and carry on as usual.

trivial bit- we were talking about sprouts and i said "well you would probably like them if you had them cooked properly with bacon"
(he only has his mums that are boiled to a pureed sprout ball thing that disintegrate in your mouth mmmmm) i continued "its just that sprouts arent nice when overcooked."

teenagey bit- he cut me off and said " your hairy muff isnt nice" Shock

i was really hurt by this. its just so personal i dont understand why he thinks its ok to say to me or any woman. he thinks i should let it go and as usual is turning it round so i look too sensitive. does anyone think iabu to not be ok with what he said?

to add a bit more, he is desperate to get back together doing a great job isnt he!
and id just like to state my fanny isnt that hairy, were taking about 3 weeks of not shaving its not to the point i can make plaited pig tails ffs.

Never sleep with your ex!

earlyriser · 26/12/2012 10:16

And that is why he is your ex. Make sure you keep it that way!

SantasENormaSnob · 26/12/2012 10:17

And your response was?

There are a million great comebacks once someone has brought your genitals into it.

MrsFlibble · 26/12/2012 10:19

Tell him to F off and his cheesy knob werent nice either, and never be so stupid to sleep with him again.

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow · 26/12/2012 10:19

Why not wait 3 or 4 weeks and then tell him you've just been diagnosed with an STD Grin - you'll enjoy that and it could be your revenge!

FrustratedSycamoreSnowflake · 26/12/2012 10:20

Brush it under the carpet, never go there again, and run run run walk away. This twunt obviously doesn't want to get back with you, and you really shouldn't go there.

Xales · 26/12/2012 10:20

Well it's pretty good he thinks that as he ain't getting near it again. Right?!?!

Please say it was safe sex after the booze/

fannychmeller · 26/12/2012 10:21

exactly it just reinforces that ive made the right decision.
and he keeps asking why i dont want to give it another go, with one liners like that its a wonder im not falling to my knees. Hmm
hes just dripping with charm is my ex

Well he won't be seeing it again will he, so that's fine isn't it?

By the way, next year just tell him to come round early or open presents later. Him staying over was just a stupid idea.

curiousuze · 26/12/2012 10:22

Aaaaand that's why he's your ex. Who gives a flying fuck what he thinks of your muff? He obviously prefers the 18 year old porn star boiled chicken look, the dickhead. At least you've plenty pubes to pop into his breakfast/lunch, nom nom!

Yama · 26/12/2012 10:24

Try to look at it that he has done you a favour. Any possibility that you would get back together has gone yes?

DontmindifIdo · 26/12/2012 10:25

So what have we learned today? 1) never get drunk round a bloke who wants you back when you've not had sex for a while 2) never let your ex stay over 3) an ex is always an ex for a reason, never go backwards 4) you might need a wax. Wink

fannychmeller · 26/12/2012 10:27

SantasENormaSnob my response, im ashamed to say was proper clutching pearl necklace, gasping open mouthed affair and i then stormed out Blush
was too shocked to say anything it was just so fucking rude.

OP posts:
fannychmeller · 26/12/2012 10:28

was a proper was meant to say

OP posts:
fannychmeller · 26/12/2012 10:34

maybe i should add he is the definition of a mummys boy.
in his moronic mind me saying his moms sprouts were fucking vile slightly overcooked warranted him making a personal comment like that

HollyBerryBush · 26/12/2012 10:35

Op - you onviously have a great sense of humour otherwise you wouldnt have posted this.

Have to say the whole scenario, muff discussions over sprouts has given me (and DH) the best laugh of the holidays!

fannychmeller · 26/12/2012 10:43

im here all week Grin

The natural state of the adult female genitals is soooooo revolting.

Type out his comment to you, print it off, laminate it and put it in your purse. Every time you feel like you're losing your marbles again and are going to let him within 10 feet of your hairy muff, take it out and read it.

amistillsexy · 26/12/2012 10:49

Hec, tell me you're being sarcastic with your "revolting" comment!

Yama · 26/12/2012 10:54

Good plan Hec. And Fannychmeller, bold it like in your op.

peacefuleasyfeeling · 26/12/2012 10:55

I'm sure your hairy muff is absolutely gorgeous, all fluffy and soft and friendly and inviting. His loss. What a ninny.

HECTheHallsWithRowsAndFolly · 26/12/2012 10:56

Of course I am. It is dripping with sarcasm.

fuckadoodlepoopoo · 26/12/2012 10:56

Perhaps next time he suggests getting back together you should say that you are concerned about his desire for your fanny to look like that of an 8 year old girl. Imply he must be a perve (doesn't mean you or i think he is but it'll piss him off) then slam the door in his face.

He's clearly an ex for a reason.
