I've opened the sherry and a tub of Pringles Xmas Grin

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 19/12/2012 21:45

Captain Xmas Envy. You have named my 3 favourite things.

I made a sly dash for the kitchen earlier for a mince pie and some clotted cream and DH barred my way. Apparently Christmas doesn't start until Saturday.

I've dug out the nutcracker and am going to town. I'll just decant the nuts into a decorative bowl before OH gets home and remark on how little value for money nuts are these days Wink

bigsista00 · 19/12/2012 21:45

I have to stay out of Our xmas stash of goodies, otherwise that would give dp and ds free reign and it would all be gone before Tues!

Oh, and the cupboard has been full for 3 weeks and im 22 weeks pg... Im so proud of myself Xmas Grin

Allalonenow · 19/12/2012 21:46

Yes of course Unexpected, just have a tiny little bit of something to get in the mood, and to test it to make sure it is good enough for Christmas.

Happy Christmas
Xmas Wink

Allonsy · 19/12/2012 21:47

I've been secretly replacing things I've got at all week... Unfortunately the shop has almost run out of mini mince pies, so I will have to stop eating them before I can't replace them again Xmas Blush.

Threelittleducks · 19/12/2012 21:54

Mine has been full for aaaaaaaaages! I'm amazed I have held out this long. It should be in Guinness book of work records if I'm honest. Just amazing!

SoleSource · 19/12/2012 21:54

Scoff it and blame greedy burglars.

missrlr · 19/12/2012 21:54

Bottle of wine cracked and cheese scoffed, must go buy replacement cheese tomorrow. And biscuits for cheese
Bugger it Chrimbo and a sick DH sick dog and numpty colleagues means I am worth it (right now)

SoleSource · 19/12/2012 21:55

Call the police and everything

singledadof2 · 19/12/2012 22:01

Strewth, you lot are really organised. I'll be getting Christmas food over the weekend. Only started gift buying today. Don't see what the rush is to be honest.

WhenSantaGotStuckUpACunnyFunt · 19/12/2012 22:22

I'm not allowed either Xmas Sad DP doesn't allow any eating of christmas food until he's finished work for christmas because it's not fair apparently. So we can't start until Friday (or sunday if you want to be picky as that's when his gritting week is over but there's no guarantee he'll be going out).

To be honest I don't actually mind it. I'm proud of my willpower to not eat and replace

Leeds2 · 19/12/2012 22:24

Just eat/drink it! And enjoy!

EndoplasmicReticulum · 19/12/2012 22:24

I also have bought the Christmas drink but no mixers yet, so I have gin but no tonic. Have done this on purpose.

HorraceTheChristmasOtter · 19/12/2012 22:28

Asda do own brand - bloody good too - individual choc orange segments. Have replaced the box twice all ready. And the cashews.

poorbuthappy · 19/12/2012 22:28

Just bought Lindt chocolates from Costco.
Have put them away.

Well DH has put them away.

It's killing me Grin

ledkr · 19/12/2012 22:30

My celebrations have been kept in the boot for ages but alas I did Xmas shopping today and so far have had 2 mince pies a few baileys and half a bottle of red. Keep remembering I have work tomorrow and feeling surprised
