Six ferroro rochers scoffed here Xmas Blush

ThePoppyAndTheIvy · 19/12/2012 22:34

For the first time ever the Christmas chocolates are unopened and the selection boxes are in tact (the original ones Xmas Shock). I'm not sure why!

CaliforniaSucksSnowballs · 19/12/2012 22:43

LOL I was thinking the same. I just got back from Costco and the jat of cashews is calling, so are the Lindt chocolates and big tin of chocolate biscuits. Neither of which are for me Blush
I think I need to make a cup of tea and have a small snack, just trying to figure out what I can open that won't be noticed.

CaliforniaSucksSnowballs · 19/12/2012 22:43

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh · 19/12/2012 22:50

Well I ate the chocs that a friend gave me as a present (but DS wouldn't have liked them anyway). Otherwise, no temptation in this house as we go to my mum's for Xmas anyway.

Mind you, if I am going to have a perineum party again I will have to shop for nibbles next week...

apostrophethesnowman · 19/12/2012 22:51

We have opened and consumed two tubes of pringles. Not on the same day.

I'm impressed that there's not been more premature eating of goodies to be honest.

ledkr · 20/12/2012 00:14

Does anyone have a house full of treats and raw meat and yet no actual food?

cornycarrotshack · 20/12/2012 00:16

I'm so sick of mince pies and stollen and still have loads in the cupboard.
Going to M&S on my way back from work tomorrow and get a basket full of nice food.

Viviennemary · 20/12/2012 00:21

I bought a box of coffee creams for Christmas. Nobody else likes them but me. Now there is one left. Xmas Blush I've also had some truffles.

cornycarrotshack · 20/12/2012 00:24

Tomorrow I'm buying turkish delight, chewy caramels and cashews. As it's now officially christmas I'm scoffing them when I get home.

HazeltheMcWitch · 20/12/2012 00:28

A terrible thing happened to me today. Someone - who may be me - appears to have eaten all the stockpiled lebkucken. I went to Lidl to secretly buy more - but they were Out Of Stock. Apart from the horrid ones with apricots in.

The horror. I'm now german-gingerbread-less for the festive period. Let this be a lesson to you all.

cornycarrotshack · 20/12/2012 00:29

Thanks for sharing that Hazel.

ledkr yes, treats and raw meat seems to sum up my house. We had to have a weird meal of old frozen ratatouille tonight as there was nothing else in apart from the Christmas stuff.

monkeyfacegrace · 20/12/2012 00:35

Wtf id..wrong eith.you all. Ivr had a bottle.of malibu, archers. Vodka, ptosseco and baileys tonigjt. Not all me, there was 4 of us. Our chridtmas food has.gone. xmas lasts all of december, not jusy a day.

HazeltheMcWitch · 20/12/2012 00:53

Thanks corny. It feels good to share.

SueFlaysAgainstTheDaleks · 20/12/2012 01:00

Never mind the snacks, what on earth is a perineum party? Xmas Confused

Have eaten own body weight in stollen already

ChristmasEvie · 20/12/2012 01:09

Viviennemary same here-I love them and got a box just for me but have been very good and not opened them yet!Xmas Smile.

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 20/12/2012 08:56
Xmas Grin

I want to know what a perineum party is too!

Christmas chocolates are still intact here, and I am not sitting in the kitchen eating chocolate butter icing from the bowl. Oh no Xmas Blush

No real food OR treats in my house Xmas Sad. Beans on toast for dinner. Too lazy to go to shops. I mean honestly, why can't someone else go buy me tonnes of nice things!? Is that so much to ask? Grin

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh · 21/12/2012 01:03

A perineum party is (sorry to disappoint those of you who might of assumed it involved group sex or body piercing) one which happens in the Bit In The Middle ie between Xmas and New Year, therefore neither one thing nor the other.

SolidGoldFrankensteinandmurgh · 21/12/2012 01:03

Of course, not to say that it's can't involve group sex and/or body piercing if that's how you like to entertain your guests, it's just not compulsory...

UnexpectedItemInShaggingArea · 21/12/2012 07:51

Yes, it's time to start enjoying. Have been buying treats all week - the dc have had J2O's, pringles, festive cakes, etc., and we will have some treats over the weekend.

For the last couple of years I have bought a Christmas cake and lovely cheeses on about 27th - for less than 1/2 price to make it all last longer through the other end too.

OhYouMerryLittleKitten · 21/12/2012 08:16

Xmas Grin SGB.

I'm getting increasingly concerned that when I look at all the Christmas goodies I just think 'meh'. Absolutely no interest in them at all. That's not right is it?
