None in our local Sainsburys. They havent had any for days. Same with our local Tesco. They said they just havent been getting them in.
Quality Street is piled ceiling high though.
Our larger Tesco out of town store hasnt had them on lately either. Has anyone else who prefers Roses had trouble getting hold of a tin?

In our Sainsburys they are EVERYWHERE. They've even emptied the end freezer sections to fill with boxes of them. They had a lot of Celebrations too, but they seem to be actually selling, unlike the Quality Street.

Customer services might be able to move some from other branches to yours, if you ask? It'd be in their interest, there is no way they will sell as many as we've got. It's a tiny rubbish Sainsburys too!

twizzlestix · 19/12/2012 21:19

I've noticed this too! Bizarre. Total first work problem too Xmas Smile

MrsChristmasBungle · 19/12/2012 21:21

Massive piles of them in my local Morrisons.

Jingleallthejay · 19/12/2012 21:22

cos it the cheap tins and everybody will be getting them Xmas Grin I couldn't find a box of heros in town today nowhere Im going to the supermarket tomorrow to track them down,

Darkesteyes · 19/12/2012 21:22

We are a small town which doesnt help. I think the reason QS doesnt sell so well is because there are so many bloody toffees.

I saw a man buying 20 yesterday in Sainsbury's

Shock he is either a lazy present giver or just greedy

Darkesteyes · 19/12/2012 21:31

Hes probably both Jingle. The word selfish springs to mind as well.

Been in 3 different supermarkets today, all had mountains of them.

noisytoys · 19/12/2012 21:37

Our lidl has the hugest tins of quality st for £3 a tin and they still aren't shifting them

Ilovesunflowers · 19/12/2012 21:48

Send your quality street my way. I love them!

Teeb · 19/12/2012 21:56

I love quality streets! I'm sure they changed the recipe/design of the roses a year or so back and they are horrible now.

marquesas · 19/12/2012 21:56

Near me its Heroes that have disappeared, plenty of Roses, Quality St and Celebrations

I saw Chocolate Oranges in the Co-op for £1 this afternoon, they had plenty left.

lovelyladuree · 19/12/2012 21:56

Plenty of tins of Roses on ebay for £9.99. Thieving cunts.
