YANBU. A friend put up the other day 'I'm in so much pain' After lots of people updating 'oh my god, what's happened?' she updated that she had been in a car crash 'but not to worry, no one was hurt!'. So why the update saying you were in pain then?!

This is why I deleted nearly everyone off my friends list and have just kept family and real life friends that I actually spend time with.

There was one girl who used to rant about xh constantly and then comment how she never normally does this but had had enough.

There were loads who would do the 'why are some people twats' thing then not say why or add 'you know who you are'

I enjoy Facebook so much more now that I just interact with real people about real things and I get to see photos of family growing up.

Just to add an exception to my rule: my friend's mother died very suddenly and my friend posted one of these statuses (stati? statusi? :o) saying that she was upset but wasn't going to say why. It's not her style so I called her to find out what was going on :(
