Just say the bloody work for fuck's sake. AIBU to want to stab stab STAB people who use these twattish tweeisms?

OP posts:
FarelyKnuts · 08/12/2012 12:43

There is no sexual connotation to feck like there is fuck. Fecking is stealing or throwing something.

GwendolineMaryLacedwithBrandy · 08/12/2012 12:44

Argh, shouldn't have looked at that link. Now i want one of those fecking posters.

BOFingSanta · 08/12/2012 12:46

It's a tone of voice. Comes in handy on the internet sometimes. I dislike nmisms like b*tch more.

LadyBeagleBaublesandBells · 08/12/2012 12:47

Yes Gwendoline and Ceres, it was Father Ted that introduced the word into British culture.
And since it was the best comedy series ever in the whole world, people will use it.Grin

GwendolineMaryLacedwithBrandy · 08/12/2012 12:50

You're nearly right. it was one of the best comedy series in the whole world. Actually, feck it, it was the best. I'll shove Blackadder etc into second :o

Jingleallthejay · 08/12/2012 12:53

AmIthatTinselly · 08/12/2012 13:44

I use feck in RL too, as I am another one who got it from Father Ted. as well as being word and note perfect at My Lovely Horse, both versions

I don't, however, understand Blardy. What the feck is it meant to mean?

MardyBra · 08/12/2012 13:45

I've seen a few grips being offered recently to posters who need to get one iyswim. That could quickly get very annoying.

I get very annoyed by the spitting on keyboards, emissions of bits of wee, etc. Unless the poster is actually spitting or weeing.

MardyBra · 08/12/2012 13:46

Oddly bleddy annoys me more that blardy. Confused

scottishmummy · 08/12/2012 13:47

No you haven't. You were mildly surprised and no more.

ImperialBlether · 08/12/2012 13:53

"What the jeff?" and "Blardy" make me feel ill.

They really are awful. Can someone who uses them please try to justify using such hideous words? And then can they stop using them?

scottishmummy · 08/12/2012 13:53
