To give the toddler payback for the past 3 year?

The toddler has a new bed. It is a bit bigger then a single.

AIBU to jump into it with him? I could top and tail.

My reasoning is he has done it to me nearly every night for 3 year so I think it's time I give him a taste of his own medicine

He looks so comfy and I think he should share!

Tomorrow I'm thinking of demanding he make me breakfast from his new kitchen then kick off that he's given me the wrong plate though I asked for it

Anyone who would like to do give their children payback?

Not original I know, but when my 16-month-old has a tantrum I often enjoy throwing myself onto the floor, kicking my feet and banging with my fists and wailing that I don't want him to have a tantrum because I want to have a tantrum instead. Generally he stops having his in order to point and laugh at mine, and furthermore it can be quite cathartic.

My DCs are early 20s now and the revenge has well and truly begun! The first instances were in their teenage years when I got to wake them up in the morning at what they regarded as an unearthly hour (anything before lunchtime!) and later extended to taxi duties (including retrieving me and tiddly friends from nights out!)

DS2 says 'Away Mummy' when I start to go to sleep in his bed after story time.

A bit bloody cheeky considering.

Well i made my attempt at payback. He woke and said no mum, you go now and rolled over.

I'll remember that in 3/4 hours when he tries getting in my bed!

Pay back comes when they come whining to you about their own kids waking them up in the nights and climbing into bed with them disturbing their sleep. Then you can laugh, fill the grandchildren full of sugar and send them home.

I would just have to scream in her ears so loudly that she thinks her eardrums will burst. Maybe not helpful.

My ds loves me sleeping in his single bed with him - he is a cuddler - be careful, yours might like it too!

He didn't even come in to my bed! That's how comfy his bed must be!

And how many times did you wake up waiting for him?

When my son is a teenager I will be going into his room at 6am every morning and asking to play with his ipad and having a screaming shitfit when he won't let me and tries to make me go back my bed. I will then get in bed with him and talk to myself loudly until he decides to get up because there's no way he can go back t sleep. Every bloody day.

And if he wants to go anywhere and it's a rush to get ready you need to go limp and scream for no apparent reason.

I think I might like to get in to my 6 year old DS's bed, remove his covers, sleep on top of them so he has no chance of covering himself up again then at some point in the night wet the bed.
