Yy Getorf

'it's bitch, motherfucker'

Very mn.

TheBigJessie · 04/11/2012 18:53

Bockle from débâcle?

Otherwise, I understand not.

thenightsky · 04/11/2012 18:53

YANBU

Fuck the x

GetOrfAKAMrsUsainBolt · 04/11/2012 18:54

I can't believe how addicted I am to the word motherfucker lately. It has always been beyond the pale.

I can't even blame it on the Wire, I gave up on that when I realised that Avon Barksdale and Stringer Bell were different people.

It's you lot. Leading me astray.

Pagwatch · 04/11/2012 18:55

Fupping? Grin

I hate s*t and f*k. Often used by people who are voicing really vile opinions oddly enough. And called timmysmummywithtwinklylovegussets

Pagwatch · 04/11/2012 18:56

Getorf

Ds1 calls The Wire 'the motherfuckers' .

I think it should be 'meet the motherfuckers'

HoneyDragon · 04/11/2012 18:57

YANBU you curmudgeonly arse you.

XDryHumpX

GetOrfAKAMrsUsainBolt · 04/11/2012 18:58

lolol 'meet the motherfuckers'

I hadn't a clue what was going on. I kept on having to say to dd 'what the hell did that just mean' and see would be 'WHAT mum just watch it'.

I just gazed at Dominic West's pretty face most of the time and tried to catch him out sounding English.

BitBewildered · 04/11/2012 18:59

Jessie bockle is to bottle what lickle is to little.

I can understand people who don't want to swear, but pretending not to is just insulting. Insulting and really fucking irritating!

IvorHughJackolantern · 04/11/2012 19:01

Ah dnt wrry abt it hun its jst wrds on a scren x x x x x

Smile Smile Smile Little Ivor is roughly 19 months and some additional days and hours Smile Smile Smile Sometimes he does up to 9 poos in a day he is very G&T Thanks Thanks Thanks

ChippingInLovesAutumn · 04/11/2012 19:14

I completely & totally agree with you - absolutely. Anyone doing any of the above should be shot first, questioned after!!

Except on the bereavement/relationships threads, where I do sometimes end with a HUG or a x (or 6) but I think that's fair & reasonable.

The day MN has nm style sign offs is the day I become far more productive in the real world!

wigglesrock · 04/11/2012 19:25

I couldn't give 2 shiney shites if people use text speak or sign off with a x and I can't really get worked about other peoples grammar or apostrophe positions etc - its all a bit us and them and snooty.

IvorHughJackolantern · 04/11/2012 19:29

Text speak really irritates me and it blinds me to the content. I just cannot persevere with it so if I come across it, I close the thread. I think that's true for a lot of people here.

Grammar, spelling etc - can't see how that's important. Pisses me off when a thread is hijacked by people making snidey comments about the poster's spelling (unless it's all lighthearted, good natured and lovely)

valiumredhead · 04/11/2012 19:35

I have been known to add an x where I feel the OP needs support - shoot me

SauvignonBlanche · 04/11/2012 19:37

You are being a being a cunt hun. Lol x

Love it! Grin

MurderOfGoths · 04/11/2012 19:42

"Text speak really irritates me and it blinds me to the content. I just cannot persevere with it so if I come across it, I close the thread."

I find that as well. The last two forums I joined before MN actually banned text speak. One of them deleted/edited your posts if you used it, the other had an autocorrect feature for it, so if you typed in something like "dat" it would correct to "I think you'll find the word is "that"". Which made for some confusing posts when it was first implemented, but people started typing properly after a very short time!

SuePurblybilt · 04/11/2012 19:46

This VERY WEEK I have seen 'bubs', 'hubby' xxx lol and coy non-swears from someone posting offensive and ignorant shite.
From different posters, mind you, so it is an epidemic, like that Ash fungus

Mumsnet Die Back Shock. Close the fucking ports!

MrsBovary · 04/11/2012 19:46

I agree, though it's really the 'hunning' and text talk I dislike. I can live with the swearing, however.

Fupping does sound like quite a promising rude word in itself though. Maybe the sound of bodies slapping together during Sexual Congress?

TheDailyWail · 04/11/2012 20:01

I got pulled up by my Aunt for NOT putting xxx at the end of a message.

Hmm
B1ueberryJam · 04/11/2012 20:09

@ Ivor, yes it's the "it's been 14 days til my new kitchen is installed" type tickers I see on another forum mag1cmum [cough] did that slip out!?

clippityclop · 04/11/2012 20:09

But Daily, that's your auntie, someone you might consider kissing in real life? I get x at the end of texts from dds singing teacher who's lovely but we don't do kissing!

FayeKinitt · 04/11/2012 20:15

Thank God it's not just me!

To be honest I'm not the best in the world at spelling and grammar, but I try.

I really hate txt spk though, and one of the big draws to Mumsnet for me is that it's not often used.
