I have no belief in derren browns psychic ability. his usual hypnosis shows are blatantly all set up with actors/actresses. I have had many an argument about this in the past with dh. His current 'apocalypse' show- if it were real- would be a Jeremy beadle gone (far) too far. However, this apocalypse show is mildly entertaining. At least he is admiting that there are actors involved- though clearly guy who is supposed to be hypnotised is an actor too. (Dh thinks otherwise)

With respect, I don't think the Wizard Of Oz stuff is meant to subliminal or anything. It was fairly obvious.

(Have you ever noticed that whenever you start a sentence with "With respect", you invariably end up sounding like you are calling someone a cunt?)

I don't think there'll be a twist tomorrow. I think it will be more of the same shite and Derren will just say he isn't an actor. I do think he probably isn't an actor but I do think that maybe he guessed what was happening and played along with it.

As he along with loads of other previous live audience types or fans via twitter had previously signed up agreeing to be guinea pigs for something like this. So at the back of his mind he could well be thinking that this is it, Derren's picked me, etc.

I also think its all a bit boring.

Working your arse off shouldn't and doesn't equal instant respect and gratitude. If it was a good programme then it would be a good programme no matter how long he worked on it.

IMO it was a bit shite and I like Derren Brown. I will therefore watch it tonight to see if it gets any better.

True, but all I've heard since it aired is how fake is is, I think they may be forgetting it wasn't a real zombie apocalypse...

The man makes a living out of making television entertainment, it's a shame some out there have to spoil it for others who are genuinely enjoying it.

I don't think he's an actor. I do however think the girl is a very poor actor, if I was the bloke Steve, I think I would have been very sceptical about her.

Never used to like DB but have seen more stuff he's done and now think he's fab. I watched Svengali on 4 recently and he said something along the lines of "I better not fall, I'm a borderline national treasure" - made me larf
