Or ickle instead of little

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 22/10/2012 20:22

YANBU but I said 'nana' to DS in Sainsbury's today Blush He is 2 but says 'banana' so I have no real excuse .

HeinousHecate · 22/10/2012 20:23

Yes.

And what's with the odd renaming of famous people? an initial and a bizarre shortening of their last name.

Stop it at once, whoever is responsible for this. It's stupid.

MrsKeithRichards · 22/10/2012 20:24

Some of my sons mispronounced words have became common use though!

Next side instead of beside.

Eat-a-bix and Ibena

But I don't use them to normal people, just my people!

INeedThatForkOff · 22/10/2012 20:24

Bockie. Oh dear.

EllenParsons · 22/10/2012 20:24

Yes I hate it. My mum says "strawbs" amongst other things Hmm

INeedThatForkOff · 22/10/2012 20:24

That is bottle, btw!

TidyGOLDDancer · 22/10/2012 20:25

Oh no, bockle is awful.

HastaLanugo · 22/10/2012 20:27

I hate narna for two reasons. My 2yo daughter used to say banana and it changed thanks to nursery. But also, because there is nothing even close to an r in banana the way I say it (Scottish)!

crackcrackcrak · 22/10/2012 20:27

Wtf is a bokkle?

The correct lengthening of the word cow is 'moohorn' he he

The word I get most irate about is 'mamma' on hippy parenting threads. I want to kill people over it.

mumsfretter · 22/10/2012 20:27

chaos Grin Grin

or the over lengthening as a superlative

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 22/10/2012 20:29

benjalamummy · 22/10/2012 20:29
