I thoroughly dislike people using "baby" language to DS - he doesn't need you to put on a silly voice and talk about an ickly blankie, he knows it's called a blanket.

I do however, taking my cue from him, refer to Scotch Eggs as "Cheggs"

Am I being inconsistent here?

Cinderariel · 22/10/2012 20:50

It's all hideous, obvs.

mumsfretter · 22/10/2012 20:51

JugsMcGee · 22/10/2012 20:56

Bokkle? That makes me feel a bit stabby.

Bluestocking · 22/10/2012 21:01

None of these comes close to the vomitousness of hubby or, possibly even chunk-splattered, hubbie.

I HATE bockle. :@

crashdoll · 22/10/2012 21:14

I was walking my dog and said to him "look at the quack quacks, crashdoggie". Then, I visibly cringed, looked around me to make sure no one had heard and swiftly exited the park.

TheSmallClanger · 22/10/2012 21:14

Where my mum and dad live, "baby" is shortened to "bab". It makes my skin crawl. It's a baby, what's wrong with a nice word like baby?

DH calls mushrooms shrooms. I don't eat them so I don't talk about them much.

mumsfretter · 22/10/2012 21:15

Grin Crashdoll

That's so funnywunny Wink

OP posts:
Bluestocking · 22/10/2012 21:16

I quite like bab, SmallClanger. Where I used to live, everyone was referred to as bab (unless they were really, really horrible).

mumsfretter · 22/10/2012 21:16

Happy Birfday to you
