Just seen an advert for (I think) Hello magazine. Kerry is now cashing in on other peoples misery with her story that Jimmy Savile once "perved" over her. Nice.

I know I'm not bu but this has made me very cross. Who buys this shit?

"Teenager leered at by old man" isn't really in the same league as "sexual assault and rape of children" though is it, I agree that she is using the situation to get herself a piece of the attention. I would have every sympathy had she come forward and said she had actually been abused, but he allegedly looked at her, I'm sure she'll get over it.

I've always tried to be on the fence about her really. She's a bit of twat but fighting against an appalling upbringing. However is this is true then yuk!

She mentioned it in her regular column she writes for the magazine....it's not a specific article!

Its not a story of abuse though, its a non story of being glanced at. If she had come forward with a story of abuse I would have sympathy as I do for all of his victims

She has to keep coming out with some sort of angst-ridden stories because otherwise she would sell no column inches and that is her livelihood. Thats just it Witchety, she'll be paid no matter what she says, but she has to say something and it can't just be 'well, this week I went to Iceland and bought some pies'. She has to write something to justify them giving her the column or they'll give it to someone from TOWIE or similar. She has to shock, shock, shock to earn her keep.

KK probably wrote about it in her regular column as this brought back a dim and not too pleasant memory for her. Perhaps even, she thought it might add some validity to others' claims. That JS was a nasty, predatory creep who preyed on young, vulnerable girls.

Yep, KK pretty much met his criteria, whether she was 15 or 18.

I am pretty sure that in the Exposure documentary, a woman told of how Savile raped her when she was in her early 20s. We believe her, why shouldn't we believe KK?

I think her account is true. No one is questioning that. Better she perhaps let it appear somewhere else as it seems money grubbing to my mind and out of kilter. Sort of cold dish and self obsessed rather than part of the bigger picture.
