Don't do it!!

Hassled · 18/10/2012 22:13

Are you INSANE? Of course you can't take them to the charity shop. You might as well take them to the nursery from hell and abandon them there.

Bloody hell. I'm lost for words.

pjmama · 18/10/2012 22:13

You need to watch Toy Story 3 again, have a good cry and then put Buzz & Woody back in the cupboard. Wink

EnglishGirlApproximately · 18/10/2012 22:13

Noooooooo Sad

Prarieflower · 18/10/2012 22:14

I don't think I actually can,every time I walk past the pile I feel like a traitor.

WelshMaenad · 18/10/2012 22:14

I could pay your postage and you could send them to my toddler Grin

HopingItllBeOK · 18/10/2012 22:14

If you do take them, make sure you tell them that it wasn't your fault and you would have kept them if you could.

If Toy Story could be al, then so could Chucky and who needs a psychotic cowboy and a killer spaceman hunting them down?

MrsKeithRichards · 18/10/2012 22:15

You can never throw buzz or woody out. It's against the law.

I always think of the soliders when I tidy ds's room. They always are the first to go when the black bag comes out!

Where do I put them????They can't go in the attic as they'd be like trapped up there.

Prarieflower · 18/10/2012 22:18

Welsh I might take you up on that.

Buzz just said "into infinity and beyond"(dodgy batteries).Sad

I haven't even been drinking!

pjmama · 18/10/2012 22:18

In a cupboard where they can easily open the door from the inside, in a room with a TV and a view. They'll be fine, they have simple needs and are just happy to be there for your children in case they need them.

WelshMaenad · 18/10/2012 22:19

DS' Thomas trains talk in the middle of the night, it scares the shit out of me!

pjmama · 18/10/2012 22:19

I HAVE been drinking, in case you're wondering. (hic!)

Softlysoftly · 18/10/2012 22:20

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Ahem Freecycle and a request for a child called Bonny is your only option

browniebear · 18/10/2012 22:20

Nooooo don't do it! Sad put them in the attic with the Christmas things

ChaosTrulyReigns · 18/10/2012 22:22

I know exactly what you mean.

They are greater that the smu of their parts aren't they, those toys?

I'm plrabably going to spoil it all for you now, but I do have a teeny snurkle when anyone says Buzz and Woody. But I do have a MajorlyFnarrMind. Wink

Hassled · 18/10/2012 22:22

Put them on a nice sunny windowsill somewhere so they can watch the world.

amistillsexy · 18/10/2012 22:23

Nooooo!

I have two little boys who'd love a Buzz and a Woody for Christmas!

We'll take them off your hands and give them a good home!

Smile
fanoftheinvisibleman · 18/10/2012 22:23

I did the deed at the carboot. Buzz was absolutely battered but I felt at peace with the outcome after seeing the joy on a little boys face who had a pound to spend. I know he went to a good home!

Prarieflower · 18/10/2012 22:23

Thanks PJ.Have identified a poss cupboard,no TV but there is an escape route.

Prarieflower · 18/10/2012 22:28

Maybe a new home would be kinder.

Pixar films have a lot to answer for.

I slung all the MCD plastic tat out without a second glance.

I have to say that I have a Furbie of my dd's that I cannot throw away. I was going to get rid of it when we moved but it woke up and spoke to me so I hadn't got the heart to dispose of it.

I know I am a softy at heart.
