I used to be fascinated by it as a teenager.

Just came across a Diana Garland video on Youtube. She is an Astrologist. My September predictions for Aries was utter poppycock.

I can't get excited about it at all. Even if I read a horoscope, I've forgotten what it says in about a minute, so it could all be true, and I'd never know.

I did once hear about a statistical analysis someone had done of car accidents in relation to star signs. The study showed that it was a more reliable way of predicting if someone was likely to claim on insurance, than the methods currently used.

I think the point of it may just have been that the currently used actuarial calculations are a load of bollocks, though, rather than trying to prove that star signs are a reliable indicator of character type.

I am a Scorpio and I can vouch that we do not believe any old "toilet" at all. I am surprised that a Scorp like you does not have our deep understanding of the cosmos. We are water signs that go to the depths of the ocean and are like the well from which knowledge is drawn.

Have been listening to a Bill Bryson audiobook - and he has a bit in it when he tells some silly young moron that his star sign is "Necrophilia" & his mate says his is "Cunnilingus". She says, "Oh - never heard of them. I thought I knew them all!"

Lightbulb jokes... Just read some of them relevant to my family. Although funny there is just a tiny drop of truth in them. Both me and my husband are portrayed as someone who would take ages to change the lamp and in fact it is not.

Wonder if anyone will show up on this thread saying: "Oh, but the universe is mysterious, y'know....and science doesn't know everything. Besides, as Shakespeare says "There are more things in Heaven & Earth...."" Blah de blah blah blah.

I remember my former boss was very mean. I knew her star sign. It was the same as mine and I did not see any similarities with her. Some colleagues thought she was Scorpio. Nothing against Scorpios here but you can see what horoscopes do.
