to have chuckled when the lady in the card shop asked for.......

OK, so i was in the card shop, the customer in front of me asks for "a four candle" - i chuckle and say "I've never heard that in real life, it's like the 2 Ronnies!"

blank stares from both customer and shop assistant. Blush
Had to try to explain the word play involved - neither of them even seem to have heard of the 2 Ronnies never mind the flippin hilarious sketch to which I was referring.

Maybe I am just ancient.
Still, I went on my way still chuckling to myself about it.

SS - it's a candle in the shape of a 4 for a 4 yo birthday cake - they are on a rack behind the till
