I do feel sorry for her after seeing these pics
www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2208159/Chantelle-Houghton-stocks-Red-Bull-anticipates-sleepless-nights-ahead-single-mother.html. Not only has her husband gone AWOL but she's doing the shop and looks exhausted.

I have to say, I find the three "z-listers" that are Chantelle Houghton, Danielle Lloyd, and the biggest waste of space of the bunch Chanelle Hays (the other BB muppet who thought she was Posh Spice), to be interchangeable really.. all a bit dim, all self obsessed with being in the spotlight, and none of them with the slightest bit of talent.

CakeBump · 25/09/2012 19:55

oh thanks squeaky, I had managed to forget about Chanelle until you just mentioned her.

Didn't she have a BB media-romance?

noddyholder · 25/09/2012 19:57

I saw her once with preston in a shop near me years ago though. She had brown hair and was absolutely beautiful she is unrecognisable

CakeBump · 25/09/2012 19:58

bloody hell I've just wiki'd Chanelle Hayes and it turns out she was born in Styal prison to a drug addict prostitute mother who was later murdered by a client!!

Poor girl.

squeakytoy · 25/09/2012 19:58

Cake, I follow her on Twitter, purely for the amusement factor. The girl is a complete car crash. She is on/off with Jade Goodys feckless ex Jack Tweed, and her entire life is played out on Twitter, in all its chavtastic glory.

theinets · 25/09/2012 20:24

like the way they say she looked "tired and emotional" whilst doing the shopping .. isnt that newspaper code for drunk?

ChuffMuffin · 25/09/2012 20:50

Do I feel sorry for Chantelle? No. She's probably keeping Xposurephotos and Flynetpictures afloat with their pre-arranged pap shots. She's buying a house with the money from the shots she sets up. She knows exactly what she's doing.

And also notice the latest developments in her saga come out in the press on a Monday and Tuesday? The day before and the day that new! magazine comes out? Hmm

CherryBlossom27 · 25/09/2012 20:55

I feel sorry for her, I don't think any of this was in her plans. It's hard work having such a young baby, let alone being photographed constantly and a moronic ex threatening a "tell all" book! Yes she asked for the fame in the first place, but it doesn't mean she knew what she was letting herself in for. :(

CakeBump · 25/09/2012 20:56

ay yay yay, it's pathetic.....

squeakytoy · 25/09/2012 21:00

"It's hard work having such a young baby"

I am sure it is, which is why you would expect a woman her age to take her time getting to know the bloke, instead of rushing into parenthood with him before she even properly knew him. I think it is more a case of she saw yet another opportunity to extend her five minutes of fame.

There are plenty of celebrity parents, with more talent in their little toe nail than Chantelle, who manage to go about their private daily business without their every move being photographed by the papparazzi.

Mrsjay · 25/09/2012 22:29

you know the less famous they are the more they are in the papers and heat or whatever, famous actors singers even presenters manage to go out and have a life Ewan Mcgregor and wife adopted a baby without anybody knowing yet chantelle can't go shopping Hmm

BunnyLebowski · 25/09/2012 22:52

Damn straight.

CherryBlossom27 · 26/09/2012 08:41

Imo she's not the sharpest tool in the box and has got more than she bargained for, so yes, I feel sorry for her.

cornzy · 26/09/2012 08:45

those pictures are so obviously staged.

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 26/09/2012 08:52

Agree think they are staged. Especially looking sad and at new houses.

I don't dislike the woman or anything, but this is her day job after all.

PeshwariNaan · 26/09/2012 10:18

I do - mostly because she's getting hounded by the press with these sad-sack pictures and headlines every day...

dysfunctionalme · 26/09/2012 10:22

I feel sorry for her. I know it was a disaster waiting to happen but watching it play out is painful. He is a massive idiot and the baby is tiny, it will be hurting.

AmberLeaf · 26/09/2012 10:31

I dont like the way some people are seen as deserving horrible stuff?

She's made mistakes in relationships, so have lots of people. read the relationship boards, if you wanted to be mean you could probably pick holes in lots of peoples stories there too but generally you dont.

Shes having a bit of a shit time right now as are lots of people, I really cant find it in myself to be so scornful of this woman Confused

Jusfloatingby · 27/09/2012 16:14

I feel sorry for her. She seems absolutely desperate for attention and doesn't appear to mind making a bit of a spectacle of herself in the process. She comes across as a bit silly and insecure. Yes, she's very annoying and really should have a bit of class and self respect and stop washing her dirty laundry in public. But, at the end of the day, there's something a bit sad about her. She seems to have nothing in reserve for the day when the media lose interest in her - no talent, no qualifications, no stability in her private life - just nothing.
Unfortunately, that's the horrible celeb culture that's built up in recent years. People are taken from nothing, appear on some tacky reality show or talent competition, are blown up way out of proportion to their talent, looks or charisma and become famous simply for being famous. Then the media move on and they are forgotten about. Years ago you had to be very talented or stupendously beautiful to get that kind of fame and attention.

Kennyp · 27/09/2012 18:07

She love those paps asa much as they love her. They probably pay her half their commission so shes happy and theyre happy.

If you get involved with an utter knob head like alex reid then such mess is more than likely to come your way. Jordan is lucky to be away from him tbh

Mylittlepuds · 27/09/2012 19:26

Feel really sorry for her - she has had bad antenatal anxiety and postnatal anxiety. I've had it and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

PiedWagtail · 27/09/2012 20:28

Didn't she used to be engaged to that other reality show bloke??? She'll probably get over this one too.

Didn't she know about Alex's cage dancing/cress dressing before they had baby?? Yawn, yawn. She is a pointless, fame-obsessed sleb who is thick as shite. No sympathy here. Don't get involved with someone and then want to change them!!

NotInTheMood · 26/10/2012 11:13

Did anyon see her okay on this morning she looks so fragile

cheekydevil · 26/10/2012 11:44

She is,very fragile. Why on earth did she do this interview? What was it to achieve?

TheBigJessie · 26/10/2012 11:50

I do feel a bit sorry for Chantelle in general, although I didn't know she'd had a baby. She seems like a sweet girl, but whatever her academic abilities may or may be, she always seemed like she was rubbish at judging people.

I can well believe her personal life has been one disaster after another since celebrity big brother. Unfortunately, at this point, even if she wanted a job at tesco, why would she get it? Loads of applicants these days, who won't attract press photographers like honey for a few months/years, causing disruption to the store.
