to feel sorry for Chantelle?

I do feel sorry for her after seeing these pics

I do feel sorry for her but only because she seems to have limited intelligence and appears to be of the opinion that she can make a living being a "celebrity" and allowing herself to be subject to media intrusion at every twist and turn in the hope that it generates and income, instead of having a job/career and earning a living.

She got together with a man of limited intelligence following the same "career" path to persue the celebrity couple thing.

Doomed from the start that relationship. Just hope that she wants a different kind of life for her daughter.

And also where was the baby while she was shopping. I know when I was a single parent I would have loved someone to have dd while I nipped shopping.
So no she doesn't get sympathy, she clearly has help from someone.
And the going to the shops with no make up was a set up, so pictures would be taken and everyone could feel sorry for her.

I don't actually think she looks all that bad... and she isn't a stunning or natural beauty in the first place, so maybe it was staged for the sympathy vote. She does seem to live by the media, which must be a very odd place indeed. How exactly does she earn a living?

And the Alex Reid person seems like a not-very-nice-person-at-all.

yes & no really,

I think she had genuine love for alex, when i saw them on GMTV together thats the way it looked.

I think that she has been dragged down by fame hungry alex, and now the child will suffer the consequences of both their actions.

the best thing she can do is go totally private, not sell more 'stories' and get on with her life.. and of course have the food shopping delivered!

I think she is just a lonely woman looking for someone to protect her. Look at her previous relationships. All have been with people perceived to be nice guys but all have used her for the fame.

She thought she couldn't have children but ended up getting pregnant very quickly. You know Shit happens. We all make bad choicesn. Now she has to deal with them. Give the lass a break. She looks more lonely than knackered

But she doesn't come across as very bright though, does she? Not like 'a girl with a plan' (think Madonna who seemed to have it all thought out). she is a bit like Alice down the rabbit hole - just fell into it and a bit confused and not sure how to get out.

She does need to keep her head down and keep out of the media though. Did she have a job before big Brother that she could go back to?

She's been paid to be photgraphed looking a bit sad while shopping.

I agree with Frontpaw I don't think she seems particularly wiley or ruthless that's why I have some sympathy for her. Anyway she'll have lots of spare time now to muse on the vapidity of the celebrity lifestyle.

Note to all ladies: If this Alex Reid character tries to chat you up. Run.

Except actually I would say that Chantelle is the more vapid and pointless as although Jordan is certainly vapid and a famewhore, she has actually done something (even if its just getting her baps out).

Do i feel sorry for chantelle meh not really there is thousands of single parents who do the shop and sleepless nights on their own , just they don't pose for Ok and heat magazine I find chantelle annoying and a waste of time .

I had no opinion of it before reading this thread. And now I think it's bloody horrible of people to call someone else a "famewhore" "talentless" etc etc when they don't actually know her. She may or may not have set up the shots, but seeing as they're selling papers, I don't think it's unreasonable to think that she has paps outside her house without her having set it up.

She's a woman with a young baby. She split up with her DP and subsequently had to phone the police on him because he broke into her home. If anyone came on MN with that history, they would get sympathy. But hey, she's famous, so she's getting what's coming to her. Hmm

She seems to be unaware that the men in her life use her for their own attempts at greater fame.

She was married to that twit from the Ordinary Boys, he seemed to be permanently embarassed of her. Fair enough, she's no brainiac, but why then marry her in the first place?

If he did break in then she has my sympathy but of course the photies are set up she isn't as famous as she thinks this is how they all get in the papers and mags

Wasn't she brought into Celeb BB to lie that she was a celeb when actually she wasn't?

So she's famous for being not-a-celeb.

Then she took that skinny one from that band off his seemingly quite nice French girlfriend and they sold their souls to OK.
